The early birds mostly being around 0.3 metres tall makes me happy for some reason. Rookidee is the outlier, being Natu's size. Funnily enough, of the starter birds, Rowlet is the smallest, with Torchic and Piplup being slightly taller at 0.4 metres.

Flying type is super effective to these types: -Grass: Flying faunas commonly touch plants/trees while looking for their foods (such as berries etc.) and habitats (such as bird's nest and bats hanging on the trees). -Bug: Flying faunas like birds and bats eat tiny insects alive. -Fighting: An aerial attacks of a superhero or air combatant can crash the grounded target in a fight and cause an easy KO. Like Batman/Superman flies and hitting The Joker who is on the ground or a karate hero/kungfu master kicking the opponent's face by using flying kicks.

Okay just to clear up some confusion. Sometimes the heights are skewed because most "Avian shaped" Pokemon are measured by wingspan, not body height, (Explains why Fearow, Altaria, Aerodactyl, and Salamance are shorter than you expected). Along with this, some Pokemon are classified as "Serpentine shaped" and are measured the whole length down from head to tail. It doesn't mean that Mega Rayquaza is taller than Celesteela normally, but when you stretch it out, it is. This also explains why Dragonair is taller than Dragonite.
