Every time they add a new character the oldest roll character becomes a character ticket character meaning that while they do become rarer on the banners after they aren’t the focus eventually they will be character ticket characters. (Not justifying the gacha btw I think it’s annoying and bad just explaining since that isn’t explained in game as for as I know)

The gacha system is not unnecessary, the game is free and the developers need an avenue to make money from the game. You may not like it, but if you want this game to keep getting love, you’re either going to have to put up with it, or just wait for the characters to become available free to play.

That guaranteed character summon is basically only for beginners since I have everyone on it but endeavor so of course I got a dupe and just a single emote for characters I don't even play I really don't get why they thought with how much is locked behind this system that limiting it to one rental per day was smart as like you said most people will try him once die immediately and either write off the character as bad or just stop playing there. The old system at least gave you multiple chances to try them out per day so you knew whether or not a character clicked with you since you had multiple games with them under your belt now the characters get one chance to make a first impression and then either you get a crazy game where you dominate and get to see the character at there best or you get jumped and die leaving you not only less likely to summon for them in the future but less likely to summon at all.

@Globku Something you can consider is rerolling on a new account every time something new comes out. It's kind of tough to do so on PC because steam would require you to register new steam accounts (maybe there's a way to reset a steam account). But on console you can make accounts and then delete accounts to make more accounts. You get 100 free tickets after tutorial and if there's an event there's usually "like" missions to farm crystals. probably can get 1 multi each time. So at least for the purpose of content, you can reroll for characters to showcase them then reset the account to reroll for another character later. Still keeping your main account for your own playing.

Also, what I think is a problem (and I am ace rank for anybody asking) is that All Might is way too strong. He has a true one-shot combo, the best escape options in the game with special action into beta into gamma and can rescue people. It makes it hard to punish an All Might that made a mistake. If he can get a guarantied escape and rez his teammates when he should have died. In short, he has the damage of a red, the speed of a blue and support of a green character with his special action and gamma. One fix would be to increase the cooldown on his abilities a bit, so escape options aren't as powerful as they are now, or make true damage routes make less damage so you can at lest fight back.

I feel like I'm going crazy cuz I see everyone playing All For One and having a blast, but after getting him after only 3 multi-rolls and playing him all morning, I just think he's kinda whack. Like, his Alpha is basic uncharged, but while Big and VERY powerful when charged, it's so slow and easy to dodge that unless you're blindsiding someone, it's not really useful. His Beta is just Ibara's but worse, cuz I feel like going through Walls is less valuable than how Ibara's bounce off of walls, and his Gamma is interesting, but not enough to salvage the whole kit in my opinion. and the BIGGEST letdown for me was how misleading the lead-up to his release was. they made us think he'd be able to store multiple quirks and switch between them, but instead, he just gets one extra set. which is stuck at the level you got it at and you can't level up. So now I have a character that is just kinda okay, and the only interesting thing about him is that I can play as a different character. But TOGA already does that. even if She can only stay transformed for a limited time, it's A LOT easier for her to get Blood than it is for AFO Steal quirks, and her basic moveset is a lot better since she has spammable projectiles and a braindead beta (not to mention she can use the special action of whoever she steals the blood from). I dunno, I might play more, but so far, he's been REALLY disappointing for me.

To be honest I really don’t have much of a problem with the Gacha system. Ye it’s crummy, but the game is free, the developers have to make money somehow. And if the game isn’t making money, then the developers won’t invest as much in the game, and I really don’t want that to happen! Besides, all characters will be free eventually under the character ticket system, plus the free character multis there releasing now, I really don’t think it’s that bad.

As a casual player, I think the gacha is overall fine. Could we be given more tickets? sure. The problem was how they nerfed rental tickets. Revert the rentals change and give us 4 per day, and have them only usable in unranked. But ya, I get from a content creator's perspective, it becomes hard to cover the game.

There's enough tickets if you grind weekly to be able to pity every 4 months. Meaning every other character you can technically pity for.

Here’s the thing tho. If you don’t spend money then it is impossible to always have 2000 tickets for a character if you are not lucky. Sometimes you have to try with what you have especially since this is when the drop rates are the highest. In my experience I have never summoned with more than 2000 tickets because I have never had that many on me. I just save what I can go for who I want.

If there was a way to flat out buy characters and quirk sets, I would totally spend money. You can keep cosmetics and that stuff in the gacha, but you can't do that for characters, just look at apex legends. You can separately buy characters via the store, and the game still make a metric crap ton of money thanks to the loot boxes. JUST COPY APEX

Casually, getting not the character of skill set is bad, especially skill set. But what I never hear in these games is the fundamental flaw of this game nowadays, a tier list gacha royale game with barley any protection and moves that can kill you before you even breathe. AFO is technique villain (wow, never seen this before) but the damage he does, he may as well be a dang strike character. Twice can speed blitz you to all hell, if he lands *1* easily auto aimed gamma into a beta with the clone and real twice throwing knives at your flying body. This game flaw Casually is yes the rolls but when a game actively punishes you for getting hit, is to just die. It's hard to convince anyone who doesn't love MHA to even play this game. and i'm speaking from 200+ hours.

The gotcha really isn’t that bad. The problem is when you blow your tickets on things you don’t need. Or in This case, a KZbinr trying to make content around a gotcha game. Which is really bad idea. Of course you’re gonna be hurting for tickets when you’re trying to pull for EVERY SINGLE CHARTER/QUIRK SET. I have 4,300 tickets saved up. And I’ve only spent around 30$ total on this game since it came out. And I only spend them on banners I want. Most people immediately spend them as soon as they get 100 tickets. Which is not the way to do it.
