As you approach Nil at the final battle there’s an interesting conversation that takes place between the guards standing near by. They mention the daunt and cinnabar sands apparently Nil survived a great battle in the daunt. I think the tenakth fought the carja there in a great battle during the red raids.

It's a shame that much of this never comes to be... Specially Brin! I was especially disappointed not to see Brin in the sequel as he was my favorite side character by far. He's such a good storyteller & his voicework is fantastic!

there is also the beyond denver stadium area, all of that area has corrupted machines, and you can swimg to the fardest buildings and find corrupted crocs still, with manglars, that makes me think they were planing it to be just a DLC like frozen wilds was with the banuk references

I’m about to finish forbidden west and I’m pretty disappointed it didn’t have a lot of the things mentioned in the first game. Spoiler no brin, no machine drinkers. And the forbidden west datapoint that got me rly exited to play forbidden west there wasn’t much from that data point that ended up in the forbidden west either. I rly hope they have dlc because there was a datapoint in the forbidden west that might have mentioned brin or at least another machine drinker. And also one from gildun who me met in the frozen wilds but we didn’t actually see them. Kind of a bummer

The DLC still isn’t out yet. He could have gone to LA (or wherever Burning Shores is set) but I thought I heard it was LA. Or maybe you just missed him. I completely missed him in Zero Dawn.

You can find a group of dead Oseram with a scroll that mentions they were drinking machine blood after meeting a strange Banuk. They are on the coast of the big lake that's on the south eastern part of the map.
