It was clear that the final column was average hold but I think it wouldve been better to show all of the individual GL-GL matchups as hold percentages rather than win percentage. Just means all the columns would be showing the same thing and a little bit clearer. Overall super helpful video though and well done on the level of depth!

I know this comment is a joke, but I like the idea of a looks ranking, so I figure I might as well do one. My looks order: 1. JMK 2. Leai 3. Lord Vader (Yes; I know it’s Hayden Christensen, but I’m also factoring in how he looks as presented to us in game) 4. SLKR 5. Rey 6. JML 7. Jabba 8. SEE (weirdly enough, I actually do believe that Jabba isn’t the ugliest, but it’s not like the last two on my list aren’t both ugly) I tried not to factor in any of my own preferences so as to look at things just from a perspective of general appearance.

Great analysis, but I think there’s one factor that was missed, and it has real impact in regards to accessibility. Ship requirements. If it weren’t for the lightspeed bundles, I probably would not have unlocked Rey or SLKR, almost exclusively because of their capital ship requirements and how either 1) painfully slow, or 2) painfully crystal-expensive (to accelerate with refreshes) their events are. And I’m a decent size account. 10.6m. I think those are pretty heavy strikes against SLKR and Rey, because it’s not just leveling up the fleet ships needed for the events, but then only potentially getting 10 shards of the capital ship per month. It could literally take years before you’re eligible to begin either the Rey or SLKR journey. None of the other GLs have this kind of hurdle. My two cents.

After watching: maybe a little more to PvE…what I like is covering literally EVERYTHING. Even Conquest has its value on ranking. Feats irrelevant, just getting through it in general. But before I go through specifics, great video, I’ve been waiting for it FOREVER. Thank you. JML is used a lot for cheesing getting kills with a certain character like if it’s low gear and LS and is heavy on turn meter. SLKR good against heavy turn meter teams (Rey too, but not as good as SLKR). SEE with Sith Empire (a solid Fear team) or Bane or the triumvirate. JMK with his team durability and can practically deplete their stamina completely (that makes for a very good Conquest team). LV for a good AOE Daze with can shut down teams pretty quickly and his team’s survivability. Jabba, deadly bluff to start is a huge handicap against heavy assist teams. Leia, might die off quick, but ultimate can revive and turn meter given to team as long as she goes first (you’ll probably need Han in this case). Rey good for durability and Sudden Whirlwind and Damage Immunity with counter attacks with RHF, and very good with winning battles with LS characters surviving feats. Maybe all those could be ranked according to something similar to that. Like now for this conquest, JMK would probably win, but overall, which ones could get you through the most in general? I mean, being able to basically fully deplete a team’s stamina nearly and have them all survive still and used against maybe a 5th of the teams (albeit)…that’s pretty dang good. They each have their uses, I’d rank them according to how long they last, how good they are against the tougher teams and how good they are generally speaking on average in getting feats done. Like JML is the biggest cheesing kills, Rey is good on LS surviving…and so on. So yeah…I’d do that if I were to add anything else.

I thought about it but personally I’ve found every Galactic Legend useful. The feats and data disks are always changing too. There could be a conquest JML is absolutely not helpful at all. At the end of the day, I found every galactic legend helpful in Conquest.

I’ve never found one unhelpful JML does help cheese a few feats, but that’s only LS ones and could be completely useless if the feats change from one cycle to another Any advantage one has over another is likely to shift between cycles, so they average out, especially since farming a GL takes months

A couple things I might include for your next GL ranking video would be: ~ How efficient each of these teams are on offense in terms of max banner. It would certainly help SEE as I feel that he is one of the better ones in this aspect. ~ What are they good against in terms of the "defensive" meta. Example: Who is good to take down Bo Mand'alor? Who struggles? ~ 3v3 GAC teams. As much as the community hates it, it is still half of GAC.

This is a very well put together video! I love how you went with data most of the time instead of your own personal experience. I would rank them as Leia, jabba, jmk, slkr, rey, jmls, lv, see. Jabba gets a boost bc his resource event is crazy valuable, plus he gives free points in TB for his required combat missions. Jmls gets a small boost just bc his reqs overlap with leia and jabba a good bit. And Slkr is simply the best first GL to get.

I loved the way you were able to organize and present this data. Definitely well done and gives a good objective look at the value of the GLs! I will say that although JML is rated lower overall, he provides one of the best cheesing strategies with his taunt and true damage in conquest to get feats with lower powered characters with the use of Wat Tambor or Voluntary Vanguard. Definitely helps smaller accounts chase after those conquest characters!

So I know people think I’m crazy but I’m going after LV as my first GL. JMK will be my second. Why? Because I first started playing the game because I enjoy Star Wars and the characters. Anakin and obi wan are my favorite characters so I’m going after them first. Regardless of anything else.

I have recently finished half a year farm and got JMK, he is not ultimate and only r4, but at the end of the month I unlock CAT. So I will rely on JMK until I unlock Bane in a year.

For the defensive analysis, it definitely would be better to show the hold rate against each galactic legend, with the final column by total average hold rate. Should just be 100 - the success rate of the galactic legend vs the target GL on defence. Otherwise you have to switch from the GLs loss rate on defence (the bad thing) to their viability on defence (the good thing) in the middle of the graph. But a very good video!

My personal recommendation is still SLKR- He's so cheap and such a swiss army knife of a GL. Seasonal stuff like Raids, Conquest, GCs, and other special events he's still my go-to because he just has immediate power in any situation and a huge ability to ramp up. Leia and Jabba have comparable power in most cases, too, but they are so expensive to go for first.

I agree with this 98% but something to consider is if you get a team for a GL by farming a different GL, so example, if you already have SEE up and running, then you also have a LV team made, not a perfect one mind you but a team. And if you get LV first, the JMK gets Padme earlier. Don’t think this would affect the rankings, but something to consider

From a full game value perspective I absolutely agree that leia is #1. If you’ve already farmed jml or Jabba before getting her then you have a much easier farm due to all the overlap from the requirements. I farmed leia without doing that which did take a while but it’s making my current jml farm so much easier. From farming leia and buying that rebel lightspeed bundle a while back I actually only needed to gear TWO people to unlock jml. Best galactic legend for pvp and provides insane value for your other farms, she should be a top priority for people who don’t have her yet.

I would recommend adding one more variable into your calculations related to the accessibility of the optimized team. Your final total shows that JMK is number 2, but that's heavily skewed by his optimized squad. For any one who joined the game after a conquest character's conquest has ended will spend 6 to 18 months farming those characters, like Cat, Ben, Maul, and Bane through proving grounds. As such, Jabba is higher than JMK because you farm his requirements and you have one variant of the optimized team, whereas, players farming for Cat, Ben, Maul won't have the optimized team after farming the reqs. It would also be nice to have some rating for these characters in PvE included, even if the PvE scoring is weighted less than the PvP weighting. Jabba, for example, has a node in every phase of RotE. That makes him more valuable because it's an all or nothing situation. You either have him and generate 3M TP or you don't and generate 0. LV has a node that generates 200k. Some GL's, like SEE have little to no use in TB. I think, at least, weighing TB would be useful, since TB offers better rewards than TW.

Psrsonally i think JMLS is such a great starter GL because of the shared reqs witb Jabba/Leia. For that and many of the side teams get very good in the long run as well. Felt like that was overlooked a bit

Under the requirements sections you should go into more detail regarding ships. Example: SLKR is nice cause you get an entire fleet but it also takes way longer to farm those requirements. While, JML only requires one ship so it will be much easier to get but doesn't build any fleet for you.

I like numbers and noticed that your tables did not follow the tradition of skipping numbers if there are ties (i.e. Rey & SEE both had 2nd place for Kyros, but JMK got 3rd instead of 4th) to keep there having an 8th place and prevent positive skew I can't tell if this is intentional, but I compensated for this myself The averages for the first table (farming & requirements) went: SLKR Rey JML SEE JMK LV Jabba LO 2 - 3.5 - 3.75 - 5 - 5.25 - 6.25 - 4.75 - 4 The second table's averages (PvP viability) were also: SLKR Rey JML SEE JMK LV Jabba LO 4.8 - 5.4 - 6 - 6.8 - 4 - 4.2 - 4.75 - 4 With these, the overall averages would get updated as well, but since 2 GLs tied after all averages (Rey & JMK), I thought we could use PvE as a tie-breaker. Therefore, the final rankings are: Leia Organa Supreme Leader Kylo Ren Jabba the Hutt Jedi Master Kenobi Rey Jedi Master Luke Skywalker Lord Vader Sith Eternal Emperor As always, this is only so helpful depending on where you're at and why you are pursuing each GL. I just thought it would be fun and wanted to share the results

I'm confused about Rey's Defense charts. All the blue bars look like they are up at 17:59 but the average hold rate only shows 17% for the non-optimized team. Wouldn't it be quite a bit higher than the green bars? Looking at the rest of the bars, I'm thinking this has to do with showing the win rate of the GL against Rey. Just seems kind of backwards compared to the attacking charts. Maybe just flip the percentages for those defense charts to match the format of the "Average Hold Rate" bars

Only thing I will say for SEE is that with a little patience you can use him to clear every proving ground except tie interceptor. Won't get you 3 stars but I'm at 100 of each shard. Thrawn gets ya interceptor which you'll have leveled from see. Not optimal but an advantage none the less

LV is the only GL I’ve not bothered to farm/go for though I do have some of the reqs. I know Bad batch are awesome but are they worth a GL I know won’t be much use? No. I would probably put SLkR on top purely because, even though he can’t do everything, he’s probably the best all around with the exceptions of Jabba and Leia. Jabba Leia and JMK are all second in my head because they’re all so good but have their quirks, stuff like CAT and Jabba ability to ruin Leias ultimate etc. of course if we get a new Gl this year it might change things up (well, it will won’t it?) also the Bane factor is an issue. I agree he’s awesome… maybe a bit too awesome for a conquest? I’m not saying change him or anything but just saying…
