Melmetal is a Kanto pokemon. It was introduced in let's go Edit: I know let's go is gen 7, but it was a game in the kanto region, with only Kanto pokemon, except for the alolan forms but those are forms, not new pokemon. And Meltan and Melmetal were introduced in that game, making it a non-gen 1 Kanto pokemon.

Charizard has more fire, Butterfree has bigger wings, and Eevee has more fluff. Also, your point is dumb because Gen 8 Gigantamaxes are literally the same formula. Corviknight, Alcreamie, and Grimmsnarl are giant examples of: "it's just bigger."
