Not a bad video. Don't listen to what other people said. They point of this video wasn't to show off skill or anything. It was suppose to showcase different effects and that's exactly what it did. Missed a few effects though.

This is the GOLD standard for making videos! Within 30 seconds I finally acquired what I've been searching endless videos for! Thank you outstanding job! The remaining attempted "instructors" intermingle Far too much vocalizing. Why this why that bla bla bla then pluck 2 strings then back to talk talk bla bla why this is or why that is. OR an impossibly too complex display of there talent to apply to beginner anything. Thanks for a genuinely helpful video. Seriously the only one period concerning effects pedals

"You play horribly! Weeeh!" "You guitar is off-tune! Weeeeh!" Ok... * takes deep breath. * 1. Not the point of the video; 2. Risk of copyright strike if any of the songs rub the site's policy the wrong way; 3. Have you watched his other videos?; 4. What part of "All guitar effects demonstration in one video (MOST POPULAR effects demo)" is so hard to get? This is an introductory video for laymen and beginners who wanna learn about electric guitar effects and their differences, not for people who already are in intermediate/advanced stages! 5. Maybe this is why half of you never managed to get inside a band or didn't stay in it for long despite playing well??? Abrasive attitude, lack of objective thinking, and difficulty at providing feedback in a positive light. These are all the ingredients for a horrible group dynamic. Being good just doesn't cut it. That's what separates the amateur from the professional.

Thanks for posting, this is very educational and will help me decide which effects I need and which I don’t. Two questions: 1.Is there a more subtle version of the wah effect? What I mean is can you add different “amounts” of wah, so it is more subtle and not as extreme sounding as is done here? 2: could you possibly put times in the video description? When fast forwarding in the video I can’t really tell where I am. Thanks!

Bonus: we all loved your "Just the facts, ma'am. video, playing a few different styles to give a better demonstration. I don't think a noise gate would be effective though, since it can only limit sounds considered "noise" and part of the criteria is that the sound has to be consistent in tone, which a human voice isn't (all the different vowels and consonants rapidly vary the tone of the sound, for every voice).
