Honestly I wouldn’t really be forgiving Eret either for betraying L’Manburg initially but that’s what’s so sad about it. He made that choice once and he can’t ever fully take it back. It has defined him ever since. Though I also am not the most clued in on Eret’s deal and am open to hearing more.

I think that Eret's character is very interesting. As the song explains, Eret originally betrayed the Dream Team to help the soon to be L'Manberg flourish. But, he realized that in the end, he wanted power and sucess and he couldn't really get it in L'Manberg. Eret then made the deal with Dream that sealed his fate. He led the L'Manberg members to the Final Control Room, where the Greater Dream SMP members ambushed them. Later Eret realized that he regretted leaving his friends, when in the end he was just a puppet for Dream, who even replaced Eret with George later on. Eret regretted what he did, but he redeemed himself in the end by joining Pogtopia.
