also they have histerical strength because the brain is half dead remember the part that allows movement and hunger and suvival insticncts is left making it a feral histerical animal but if you think about it they would be running as fast a as 20 miles a hour due to histerical strength but then again thats a bit overkill cuz the muscles will rip and die if they kept doing that so some walkers are weaker than others possible due to that

That scene with Rosita falling in the horde but somehow not getting devoured to death is probably the dumbest thing they put in the show with all the other dumb horrible writing this season had. Ngl I cringed the most when they used up all that FUEL to get rid of the herd. Fuel should be like gold for them but they just use it to blow up half of their community to kill some walkers and to show that the rich and successful people in their community will no longer be able to live in their luxurious houses. There’s dozens of other ways to get rid of a horde but they choose the riskiest and most wasteful one imo

Tbh we’d have to look into how hard a human being can actually bite and build something that can withstand that bite force! (we can bite through our fingers like baby carrots, but our brain says “no bad idea that’s owies”) and then we’d have to figure out how thick armor would have to be, while having sealed joints that still move well enough for you to not become so slow that you die from behind overwhelmed and crushed like how bees kill wasps. It’s a very delicate balance to find something that actually works and is functional, while being easy to produce on a mass scale like that.
