Thanks a lot! I typically record to the actual song (playing over the existing drums). It can be frustrating because that usually means I have to match the drums fills exactly or, if I add a busier fill, it has to effectively "cover" whatever is really played on the song. It would be way easier/quicker/creative if I had recordings without drums on them....
