logan, a better way to cook ramyeon is to put the ramyeon powder and flakes in the water first and let that come to a boil, and when its boiling put in the noodles. if you put the noodles in with everything else before its boiling the noodles come out sort of soggy and not chewy enough. if you like that its fine but just leaving a comment in case you didnt know - the ramyeon and bunsik shops in korea mostly cook their ramyeon this way. also for the sesame ramyeon, the chili oil goes in last and after its been taken off the stove.

On the runner's high part: I have experienced this and well... it took me like a year of focusing on running long-distance to get there. I would not call it a "high" so much as I felt like a machine that could go on forever after about 3.5 miles/30 mins. It was like my body was kinda numb? That's the best way I can describe it. I felt very strong during that 20 min timeframe (about how long it lasted for me each time- the last mile, mile-and-a-half was excruciating every time) but like I could die when I finally hit 7.5/8 miles. But I was proud bc it took me a long-ass time to get there and a crazy amount of mental discipline I didn't know I had in me!
