I know I’ve found myself listening to completely different stories at times, but end up enjoying all of em. Am curious if they are being released in order tho or maybe they’re all different and it’s just the familiar narrating voice that has me thinking there’s a storyline for all of em

Interesting and informative. Excellent photography picture 📷 of the soldier looking thru the observation scope. Enabling viewers to better understand what the orator was describing. Class A research project!!! Special thanks to the veteran solders. Sharing personal combat experiences. Making this documentary more authentic and possible. Fighting/perishing/surviving knowing certain death/debilitating wounds were often possible. That's true grit style determination to succeed. Once again the disillusioned/arrogant/Hitler & associates. Weren't overly concerned about the predicaments of the retreating/depleted German military forces. After all there were many 13/14/15 year olds to defend rescue Berlin.

My then wife and I went to a village in Austria, about five years ago, actually this time of year. The place is St Jakob Im Walde, beautiful place. During a nice walk through the village, we happened upon a cemetery, with about twenty graves festooned with German WW2 helmets. Initially I was offended by the martial display, but upon inspection, I realized almost all of the lost lives were 19 or 20 years of age. The tragedy was compounded because almost all of them dies in the final few months of the war. For what? All those young men called up and sacrificed for nothing.

@@jamesflaherty8739 I’m sorry, I don’t understand you. “I am sure they wish to forget it.” Who is “they”? The villagers? The parishioners? I doubt it; the cemetery is prominent and well cared for. Is “they” the dead young men? I don’t know how anyone would gauge their sentiment. The thing is, I suspect there is a lot of general disgust with WW2, but for the soldiers who fought, I don’t see a lot of individual regret. Ex soldiers often twist their perspective like a pretzel to justify their actions. Instead of saying they were fighting for a race-hating leader, they say they were fighting for their families, their comrades. Not so much regret on either side. “They” were just “following orders. Respect, Joel
