Daz. You may find that 4 incher is to big , I have the same vice on a sx3 mill and it can distort the table . On my KX1 I have the 80mm grinding type vice which fits quite well with the splash guards on .note due to the duf leaf boy usb card I have retrofitted mine to mach4 runs better now probing now works , following your lead I have customised the screen a lot . Thanks for your down to earth vid they make a refreshing change on YT

The Y axis on the amat25lv doesnt go right back to the Z column, so with the second vice I bought I can overhang in both + and - of the table equaling the load. A lot of the stuff that ive got in mind though will be using fixture plates. Glad you like the vids, im starting to get back into them so theres a lot to come. ;-)

Ok Daz it was just a thought , but you can always turn the vice 90 degrees. Only trouble I have for room is when I have the 4th axis on . You may know this but the fusion mach4 post incorrectly outputs the code for cutter comp g41 as a P xx value instead of a Dxx one the P one is a preset of 50% of tool dia not good . I changed the poutput statements to doutput and altered the format of the output line to output the Dxx correctly , you can find my post in the fusion post forum under support , but I am sure you will sort it your self with no trouble , I started programming in machine code a long time ago in the z80 days now at 71 I have to think about it more
