On December 17, 2022, Rabbitohs players and staff embarked on an overnight journey like no other. Travelling from our historical home ground of Redfern Oval, carrying the history of this great Club to our new home, The USANA Rabbitohs Centre.

Brings back memories of my time in the military. Showing strength,courage, leadership, team work the leaders will show you why they are our leaders the team shows you all the strength they have. It was only one day but you get so many positives to keep out of this. It sets the standards they always talk about a club’s culture this is how a culture gets built these are the 1% ers that you need to do. Build on your strengths, push yourself on your weekness and push through. There’s an old saying we used to say in the army fight through find that extra 1% you didn’t think you had push yourself get there finish the job. But the job isn’t over we have a full season to come. Keep fighting through the hard times the struggle times build your relationship with your mates. Just like in the battle field you have to trust the bloke to the left of you the bloke to the right of you with your life just as they have to trust you. So when the mighty bunnies are at that point they need to know their teammates have got their back. They have you covered just like in the battle field I never played grade footy but I do know a few 5about being on a battle field dig deep remain calm and fight through
