Maybe Norma has taken her on..I honestly didnt think Nora's baby would make it..she's never the best mother the first week but she just wouldn't let this one nurse at all and was very rough with her poor lil mite.. she was screaming for food then after the first week just lay there not even trying to nurse. As i say if Norma has got her ok but otherwise I dont have much hope even if Nan is babysitting as this baby was just not getting enough milk and the last time we saw her she seemed to have no fight left im her..just laying on her back on the concrete and Nora biting her lil arms and dragging her along the rd. Nora has never been the best in the first week if motherhood but this was the worst she has been..she just seems to he getting worst and she lost little Cessa because she left the poor lil bugger up a tree and she fell and died !!!.. I think she's a crap Alpha as you need to reproduce to keep your line going..Norma her sister on the other hand would be a better Alpha and on top of that she's a great mom..💞🇬🇧😢🐒🙈💔

Failure to thrive, that's what they call it for human babies. Nora continually pushed the baby away and wouldn't let it nurse. You could see after a few days of that, the baby just gave up.

I think her baby had an injury. She didn't look dehydrated or too skinny, she behaved very much like a baby I watched after it fell out of a tree. Nora does the exact same things in the trees as she does on the ground when she's frustrated. Pulling her baby off and trying to stick it somewhere else. It seems only the tough as nails kids survive with Nora.

If a mother of any species rejects the newborn in any way she should have an injection of oxytocin to bring about the maternal instinct and help with nursing. Those who take care of orangutans are experts at shooting injections. Had this been done, Nora would not have savaged her infant.
