the best guide and montage I've seen! extremely well made and entertaining to watch. how do you make your character stand still while you shoot out your abilities from up/far? after every ability cast, my character starts running to the target even if i cancel the auto. would appreciate if you share a tip about this

thank you! as for standing still, there is an option in the game menu where if you don't uncheck it, your character will move toward your active target until the target is in ability's range. I have that turned off, it is very important actually... making me realize I probably should have put that in the video lol... oh well :p

What do you think about stacking shield block penetration chance? They say it's good for DPS especially staff/dagger, but you'll lose health if you choose that synergy.

I think situationally serial fire bomb is better, but that only is during siege. Rest of the time I just find more success with focused fireball. I really couldn’t tell you one is better over the other with QB, they are both really freaking good haha.

If you have tevent daggers, then yes it’s a great combo. Crit hit definitely compliments the max base dmg builds yes. Thanks for watching!

thats strange, when i add +1 DEX/WIS i dont get +2 top base dmg, only +1 as if i add this stat to STR or any other. I am staff/wand tho, but has to be same for every1 as i understand.

I'm still new to setup and playing, but I noticed when you were attacking the dummies at 11:22-12:05 you were getting multiple taps on each spell even though they showed cool down timers. How does that work?

inferno wave can be used twice if you have it spec'ed that way and judgement lightning can be used twice if the first one procs heavy attack. ( you can guarantee get a 2nd judgement lightning but it adds a cast time to the first judgement lightning)

I think you can stay endurance no problem. With this upcoming mastery patch, you can make the dagger evasion passive give endurance instead. Do keep in mind this is all in theory so not tested haha.

It could definitely work. I just think Lequirus Daggers have too many good things to give up only for more HP.

The difference in between your build and adjusting for 50 str is only like +13 top base damage. Meanwhile with 50 str you get 100 heavy attack, +33 bottom base damage, and 2k health. I don't see how it's worth neglecting strength, your focused fire bomb is only going to hit for like 130 more damage on the top end.

Yeah this is just what I run. Not claiming it’s BiS in every way/scenario. But for me 2K HP sadly doesn’t do anything, you get caught not running melee Eva, you are dead anyway. I much rather get the extra mana, CDR and top hit from WIS. Especially after this mastery rework where you can get extra 1.5K HP for having 15K mana. Meta will shift around for a while, we shall see.

Yea. I was like WTF. STR not event 50 and Dex Low too? How do you even do DMG. Then I saw Queen Staff... I mean with Quen Staff you can be naked and doo good enough. Not sure what are you thinking by having 2 main DPS stats low.

@@jackynikolait has nothing to do with queen. Against burning targets (which any staff has this) I have 633 heavy attack. That’s where dmg comes from.

@@itsDKRG At this point I think you are trolling. Queen is the Staff with the highest base DMG in the game. The only thing that a majority of players can't get.The rest of the things everyone have. So Stop the CAP!

@@jackynikola if this was KR? yes i'd agree. But Queen is nerfed in global heavily to the point where it's a +4 equivalent of its un-nerfed version. If you want to talk damage; its base damage is 3 points different than Aridus and 11 points different than Talus. Its modifier is obviously strong, but I've achieved rank 1 pvp leaderboard in my server using Toublek's Staff before for what it's worth. Staff is very strong in general. With and without QB. ty for the discussion. there is no capping, simply trying to help.

Awesome guide the best I've ever seen any game Aridus is wisdom stat though just because you said it was dex, with that in mind would you run Aridus over Toublek's? I have both I think the 30 extra base on lower and higher end and higher base damage is significant waiting your reposne though.

Aridus is great. With the mastery rework, I think Talus or Toubleks might be BiS apart from QB simply due to the 80 DEX node the mastery system will have. And appreciate you, thanks!

So would you drop Aridus and run toublek I have both I'm also curious would you not run band of universal or would you drop sapphire dimensional because my attack speed is very low 21% compared to yours? My adrius gear has 50 str and with stellarite 0 buffs I'm at 252-483 50-40-41-60 and toubleks is 212-435 30-70-26-50 which should I rock the adrius has bad attk speed and chan but good base dmg and heavy attack

yes. with victorious energy, you reach 1500 hit for 20 secs which is all you need. never have any issues with my hit.

I think the small scale skill loadout I showcase works very well in the arena, just gotta add the daggers trip into the mix. melee evasion is sadly required in high Elo arenas (to an extent) but i don’t have a build for tha, you could climb relatively high with glass cannon build still though.

Really nice guide! But I still think the hit of the others players now much than 1k. If you just have evasion under 2k, seems like useless. Did you try endurance set for this build? Thank you for reply

With victorious energy, having around 1.5K hit pretty standard for a staff in T1. I try to focus more on other stuff like attack speed, range, heavy attack chance, base dmg etc to do max damage, and hit is almost an after thought, though again, 1K base is all you need, so it’s not lacking. Never tested endurance while running daggers, so my initial instinct is no, it’d not work, but it’s not something I’ve done any testing on with this build, so I’m hesitant to give you a certain answer.

Thanks for the comment. After the rune update, going 50 STR or anything past 30 STR is nerfing your damage. In the video, I thoroughly explain how this is.

Yes but you Lose to much stats. First off all 900 Eva is to low also there is no belandir ring Band of Power that Provides you good stats. Missing alos the Belt of blood❤. The HP is missing so you can change the HP Runen into evasion. Its way better iguesw
