Xavier wins the shootout by double digits (which they should’ve anyway) and beats UConn and Marquette if they have Traore and Green. They just run out of gas. It’s an extremely difficult ask when you’re 7 deep going against 10-11 deep.

Never seen a city more snake bitten than Cincinnati. Whether it was Kenyon breaking his leg just prior to the tourney, or Carson getting his knee blown out on the 2nd play in the 05 playoffs the city has had more than its share of bad luck. Sean Miller and Xavier are getting their taste the last several years. Repeated season ending injuries to their best players like Fremantle have submarined every season since their sweet 16 run. This docu series was a GREAT IDEA for this season in particular. With the fantastic scoring transfers X got in Conwell and Maddox, a true center Lassina Traore and the return of front court studs like Zach,Jerome and Daylin this club had the makings of something special. Losing your best rebounder and rim protector before you play a single game is awful, but for Zach to end up hurt again and Trey Green leaving the team for health reasons it’s CATASTROPHIC AND CRUEL! Coach Miller acknowledged he’d never seen this many significant/season ending injuries in his entire career coaching as he’s seen in just the last 3 seasons at X. So what could’ve been a potential final four run and an incredible recruiting tool in this documentary series has turned into a chronicle of pain for both the team and it’s fans. Such is life in Cincinnati. Maybe we’ll get lucky and see a miracle season turn around and we make the dance. Though it’s hard to imagine with a bench as short as Xavier’s. This city is due for some good luck.

Agreed, but this year is Sean’s team, lassina traore isn’t the answer to all of our problems, it’s people like Trey, who doesn’t even have any health problems, but is sitting out the season so he can transfer out and still have a year of eligibility because he doesn’t want to work hard enough to get on the court and just let Dante Maddox take his spot. Attitudes like that are killing us, and it wouldn’t be even much better with lassina. But I’m sure if freemantle was healthy for the toughest stretch of the season we could’ve beat UConn or Marquette.

That was not a foul on Jerome on the corner 3. Terrible call (and X has had more than their fair share..) Changed the ending of the game significantly.
Гениальное изобретение из обычного стаканчика!
