Biden may have over-prepared for the debate. His answers were not spontaneous. When you have to switch in seconds from your pre-rehearsed answers to responding to an opponent who only tells lies in a stressful situation, it is difficult for almost everyone. The questioners have given Trump the opportunity to lie every 100 seconds, not having to answer the questions and Biden trying to answer the questions but also having to resist all of Trump's lies is almost impossible. This was not a serious debate. One candidate constantly lies and the other should constantly correct the lies is not a debate but a fact checking program. This debate concept is a disaster if it takes place between a candidate who does not take the debate seriously and a candidate who does. Having a debate with someone who only sells nonsense is pointless.
