Great video! Silly question probably but did you have any safety concerns when on property or felt completely safe at all times? Yet to travel to mexico and the news sometimes makes me nervous to do so - thanks!

The resort was pretty safe all the time, and I felt safe in Mexico, too. I had no safety issues. One main thing: book your ride from the airport to the resort through the hotel. We did not feel any threat anywhere. We did the Chichén Itzá and cenote tour through the resort, and it was good and safe too.
