Love these tips! I almost always carry one of the quick-dry microfiber towels in my beach bag even in resorts with towel service. I have used it as a pillow on sun loungers, wet it to use as a cool wrap around my neck and shoulders, put it over my head during a sun shower, etc. It is so small, lightweight and versatile that it's worth the prime real estate in my beach bag!

That's a GREAT tip!!!! Making a note now! Thank you for sharing! Another use that popped into my mind are the slatted or plastic chairs sometimes used at resorts - esp. at lunch time- if I have on a shorter cover up, my legs always pay- it'd be great as a seat cushion too!

Great video. We do the sponge tip ALL the time! It's awesome and makes it so nice to have clean cups for the day and one less liquid to pack!! Also, THANK you for the ear bud tip. You are 1000% correct, I'm that person that's going to say it's okay because I don't want confrontation but then I'll complain to my husband the rest of the day. Memories & Mojitos! I really like Emile Henry, and this one sounds super good... I have a B&N gift card and may add this to my cart! I also just added One Perfect Couple by Ruth Ware and In a Not So Perfect World by Neely Tubati Alexander - which is also that same trope of being forced to pretend to date like Happy Place- which The Unhoneymooners also was, too! I guess that's a popular storyline!

Fantastic tips Kimberly. Few on there I hadn't thought of in prior trips which is great. Haven't watched the other videos yet where you may have mentioned this but if not I've always brought a night light or torch in case I need to get up in the night thereby not disturbing my hubby.

That's a great add! We do tend to use our phone flashlights, but a nightlight in the actual bathroom is a great idea- esp. when we sometimes end up charging our phones across the room and I am flailing in the dark to get there. 🤣I'm sure I've woken him tripping over something at some point....

You mentioned shoes, which had me thinking about my latest experience at an all-inclusive in Cancun. I was wearing flimsy sandals out of the pool and slipped, hurting my hip. However, we are returning to the same resort in 2025. Do you have any recommendations for waterproof, nonslip sandals I can take poolside or on the beach? Thanks in advance!! PS: great video! Very helpful.

I am so sorry to hear about your fall- unfortunately, I hear about it too often. My husband and I both wear Teva Mush flip flops (I love the wedge!) and we have found they are great on wet pool decks.
