It's funny, but mainly because it's also partially true. The spices in KFC would have been grown in India and South East Asia, and then incorporated by the African slaves who worked in the mansions of Kentucky households. Paella was a dish brought to southern Spain by the Moors, who traded with the Indians for spice (hence the similarities with briyani).

Well, I have no idea where all this starvation talk is coming from. I'm from Malaysia, and while there is a serious discrimination problem (every bloody aspect of life is racialized), there isn't hardcore poverty or anything like that. The hardcore poverty rate is really low I guess. But the corruption and basically apartheid policies are really terrible. The vid is meant for teh lulz anyway, so why make a storm in a teacup?
