What I really like is not just getting his voice, but more personality and motives from him. He is supposed to be our main villain, yet we never got to really know his exact character or motivation. Susie seemed to leave more of an impact, as she got a fleshed out personality and such. Here we get it in all its evil glory. The Ink Demon here is sadistic, massively egotistical and such. It not only makes him a despicable and entertainingly loathsome villain, it also fits pretty well with his behavior in the first game. Him being as egocentric and controlling as he is portrayed here helps explain stuff like him killing anyone who breaks his bill boards, and having his own throne room surrounded by his toons and such.

He also gets some motives because at the end of the game he kinda relates himself to Audrey by saying "you have nothing, your a mistake. A monster... like me" and you also learn in the novels that he was locked up and tortured, before being banished to the ink realm. That is when he realized that because he was the first ink creature in the realm, he spent time bonding and evolving in the ink, and after Wilson stopped Henry from continuing the loop, bendy had more time to evolve further to gain that awesome egocentric personality and the ability to talk. sean crisden was a blessing fr, his voice work was outstanding so many things about this game were just amazing, and this imo was one of the best things about it. helped his character get fleshed out a little more. he has his quiet moments, such as 'what do you think you're doing?' but then it can just switch in an instant. his personality is just about what i expected, too.

I feel like Sean Crisden had no clue what chaos he would bring once voicing the Ink Demon and frankly, I'm all for the chaos that has literally ensued with the simps- I love his voice though, it's so gravelly and it's like he's choking on the thing that made him, weirdly it's so befitting of a character so menacing and benevolent as him that I'm not even gonna argue about the voice itself or why people simp for it, or just like how horrifying it is. I think in this case it was a best of both world situation; food for the simps, and food for the horror lovers... and food for both.

The Skinny Ink Demon was more of an apex predator with very little personality besides some type of ego or playfulness like with his taunts of Henry, anger at the destruction of his cutouts and his lair being full of clips from the bendy cartoons, he's also better at looking like bendy than the later ink demon, so him having a more sadisticaly cartoony voice would actually fit him, so a lot of fanworks featuring something like that make sense However the Xenomorph Ink Demon is a lot different, likely because of Wilson's torture the Ink Demon is more intelligent, more relentless, darker, more threatening and territorial, capable of having goals, and even showing a bit of emotion like fear of what the Keepers put him through and most fascinating a very noticeable layer of insecurity like when he calls Audrey a mistake and a monster like him, which is clearly him projecting because Audrey was objectively not a mistake and is definitely not a monster I was really very thrown off on my first playthrough of the Ink Demon having a voice and him sounding like the physical manifestation of evil itself and speaking entirely in gothic poetry rather than something more cartoonish, but after we hear his deal and what happened to him it makes a lot of sense. Plus him sounding like if Voldemort got a venom symbiote also highlights the idea that he and Audrey are very similar, both soulless extremely important ink creations that have a claim to ruling the cycle, but that they are very different because Audrey was made completely out of a father's love and she wins through kindness and friendship like with her allies and determination, whereas the Ink Demon was created for nothing but money, abandoned by his creators Frankenstein's monster style, and he lives his lives existing on nothing but violence and anger. He might even in part be obsessed with consuming Audrey in hopes to experience that feeling of love by force. Even though the ink Demon isn't as egotistical anymore he still retains some of that godlike manchild energy

@@karlwes6273 It would entirely depend on where it takes place, when he's in the cycle the Ink Demon is an instant killing unstoppable teleporting monster that can't be hurt besides a few very specific weaknesses like rainbow lightning and The End, the former not even causing actual harm to him. However in Dreams Come To life he is able to be attacked and hurt by normal weapons in the real world, so he gets much stronger inside the cycle, which makes sense it is stated a bunch that he rules the realm and has a connection to it. So if the Ink Demon had that buff he'd definitely win
