So sorry to hear this. I learned two things when my Mother went down that path. When you loose your memories they are safe in His hands. And when speech no longer has meaning, He will. The mind of the Spirit in you (Romans 8)can not be touched by dementia. Be still and know will still apply. I can not tell you how much her experience enriched my faith in spite of the pain.

Just seen 5 ducklings get killed on the road by the car in front of me. The mother ran off with the 5 remaining chicks. I turned around to get the remains off the road, so mother doesn’t come back for seconds. Then I get in the car and this song starts and I take a look at the screen precisely about 30 seconds in when someone has the baby chick in their hand and Robin Mark sings he raises the bird from the dust.
