I would put the canisters on the largest platforms with those large storage wedges and then you can leave an open space for you to pop on a medium silo for example and then it would mostly auto sort your collected items

Its not such a bad idea to have containers for the raw materials that do need to be Smelted so that there are always components on hand should you run out of the Smelted commodities.

This is a horrible game for you if you have OCD. Lol. For me platform position doesn't bother me much. But the ground drives me nucking futs. It's got to be perfectly flat and smooth. So that's most my gameplay fixing tiny bumps in the ground.
