I bought 2 sets of the Kavli blades. 1 set for a John Deere 48” tractor and a set for a 48” X Mark radius X and have had great success with both. I am mowing about 9 acres between the 2 mowers. I highly recommend!👍

That Kavli fellow really has something going there for him. A set of those for my 42 lawn tractor would be nice to have I think. I prefer to mulch but my lawn grows faster than I can get out to cut it spring and early summer, I don't wanna bag cause it's annoying dumping my 2 little bags every 2 passes on my acre property and I don't like to side discharge because then my kids and dog track it all in the house and I don't have time to double and triple cut it most days to chop up the clippings more. The regular mulch blades work ok but they need more lift to get the grass that lays down from the deck and tires. Gator blades are better but they don't mulch as fine as I would like but bag like a dream. It's also a pain in the rear to take my deck off, change the blades, or switch from one style of mowing to the next all the time on my troy bilt. I feel like I'm always compromising. It'd be even better if I could get a bigger more powerful mower like a scag or walker but I don't have the money nor can I justify the price for a personal mower. Maybe I'll just have to start up my mowing business like I always wanted haha.
@Something2LookAt3 жыл бұрын
Well, that is a good idea. It makes good money and then the mower expense is justified. The Kavli blades are the best mulching blades I've experienced. They really are amazing.
@404nitro3 жыл бұрын
I remember al these videos. :-) Those blades are pretty impressive. I'd like one for my JF 21" WB mower. I have a ditch I mow that is always overgrown every week thanks to the idiot co that fert's the place doing it as well. It grows so fast from all the rain runoff off the road. I end up going over it 2-3 times per week to get rid of the clippings since it is right in front of a church and the church side of the ditch is almost flat where everyone can see it.
@Something2LookAt3 жыл бұрын
Yea, you know, the push mower is where these blades are very effective. I was really surprised with what it was doing with my 500Z. I mean, most of that footage was mulching!

@Something2LookAt3 жыл бұрын
Now you are a dedicated subscriber! You noticed it was absent. I still have it and it still runs, well, sort of. Whatever governing method it uses has come loose and I just haven't gone into to it to fix it. But I replaced it with the current version, the 500 Z. I do plan to bring the old one back into use though. It would be neat to show them and run them side by side, since they do look like twins...

You are the reason I ordered these blades last week! I mentioned you by your KZbin name :D Have you tried these in Bermuda lawns that have weeds?
@johnkavli81813 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris we are in the process of manufacturing your blades they are different just like Random Acts of Video says.
@louisgarden38883 жыл бұрын
Trust me you will love them. I bought both beast and finisha blades months ago can't go back to those ridiculous other blades.
@Something2LookAt3 жыл бұрын
Well, the yards that I have with Bermuda grass are in the areas where the yards border the golf course. Since they border the golf course they are generally weed free due to the golf course's spraying. But they certainly cut the Bermuda just as clean as the other grasses. I'll keep an eye out for weed infested Bermuda though.
