The reason North America gets sets late in the summer is because retailers here are gearing up for the holiday shopping season which starts in and around September. They want time to clear out old inventory before getting in all the new stuff. People typically don't buy a lot of stuff in the summer (spending that cash on vacations) so that's when clearance sales are happening.

Lego seem to be trying to push out their own Lego such as Lego city and the new Lego dreamz rather than the Star Wars, avengers etc and especially dc, can’t say I’m a fan of this choice imo

I'm sure they make more money on their own licensed sets. I'm actually slightly irritated that the City line took the same price raises as licensed themes! The car wash price is unreal. The grocery store price was unreal Aldo.

@@BrickMind yeah, I remember getting those poly bags for like £10 with decent sets in them with slightly worse quality to those £20 battle packs now a days, it just feels Lego try to focus more for adults and most sets are barely becoming affordable to have a nice collection of the licensed themes.
