Actually the Dwarves did fight in the last alliance, but they weren't as numerous as the Elves and Men armies. Also Aragon wasn't half elf, though he was the descendant of one (Elrond's Brother). Aragon was a Dunedain, Men who were blessed with great wisdom and Long life as a reward by the Valar for having fought against Morgoth, (Sauron's old boss). The Dunedain are the descendants of the the Númenóreans, the greatest race of men who existed in Lord of the Rings. After Númenór fell and sank beneath the sea, the surviving Númenóreans sailed to middle-earth and formed the Kingdoms of Arnor and Gondor, which were originally colonies formed by the Númenóreans before it's fall

I think in a real battle the elves pretty easily come out as the best faction. Unrivaled archers, good cavalry that can also shoot while mounted and skilled infantry. Like it's mentioned in the video elves could have hundreds of years practicing war.

Let me clear things up. There is only one race: Orcs Uruk-Hai are a species of Orcs that were stronger and bigger. They were used by both Sauron and Saruman and first appeared more than 500 years before Saruman's betrayal. There is no confirmation in the books that Either orcs or Uruk-hai were bred with humans by Saruman or Sauron. Treebeard speculates that Saruman could have crossed Men with Orcs but this is never confirmed. And we do know that a cross between humans and orcs creates 'Orc-men' and 'Man-Orcs'. And it is made clear in the books that these are different from Uruk-Hai. Uruk-hai does indeed mean Orc-folk Just like Olog-hai mean Troll-folk Olog-hai are Trolls that don't have the weaknesses of regular a troll They are intelligent and can move under the sun. I personally believe the both Uruk-hai and Olog-hai are just names given to these improved species within their own race.

Tidbit of information, arnor and Gondor are the same people just different kingdoms, they both are the remainder of the old numenor kingdom, the father elendil went North and made arnor and Aaron (I think is his name) and Isiuldur made Gondor, arnor died when all the enemy factions attacked from all sides, now all that's left is the dunadian.

(Sauron let himself get captured) Sauron manipulated him and became his most trusted advisor. But Sauron gave his Rings before all of this happened. Ar-Pharazôn was not a ring bearer and never loyal to Sauron. Sauron used his speech and diplomacy to make the Númernorians destroy their own Kingdom.

Arnor was in the North, which means the shire, bree, etc. They fought the witch king of angmar and eventually split into three warring factions, rhudar, cardolan, and arthedain. After years of civil war the witch king returned and easily wiped out the three kingdoms, but then retreated back to morder because of glorfindel, a very powerful elf. The remnants of arnor are what makes up the dunedain rangers, which is what aragorn is.

Ok guys, basic LOTR nerd lore coming in to answer some of his questions: 1. Numenoreans come from an island called Numenor. It was destroyed by Sauron when he deceived the vast majority of the Numenoreans to rebel against the Valar (the gods of Middle Earth) to obtain similar if not the exact type of immortality the elves had. Elendil, the Last King of Numenor, and his sons Isildur and Anárion along with the last remnant of Numenor sailed on nine ships. When they were separated during a storm, Elendil ended up North and Isildur and Anarion ended up in the south. Elendil founded the city of Anuminas, Anarion (from whom all the Stewards of Gondor are descended) founded Minas Arnor, and Isildur founded Minas Ithil (later Minas Morgul) 2. There were different kingdoms, the Kingdom of Arnor which encompassed everything northeast to the coast, Kingdom of Gondor, in the south, and also Umbar which became later a pirate kingdom. 3. Mt. Gundabad is in the north of the Misty Mountains, not Mirkwood Forest. 4. The Witch King of Angmar was actually who brought about the fall of Arnor. Arnor over the centuries became weak and fractured into three separate rival kingdoms. The Witch King, simply allied himself with one, destroyed the other two, and then finally killed off his ally. He was also responsible for destroying the Elven city of Gondolin. 5. As aforementioned, the dwarves did help out during the Last Alliance, they were simply in a different part of Middle Earth and not necessarily fighting on the slopes of Mount Doom.

It wasn't Arnor that had the civil war but Numenor. Sauron disguised himself and caused inner turmoil that brought down Numenor, earning his title as the Deciever. Arnor just kinda faded away after the last battle.

Therefore, they became isolated in their splendor and lived longer lives than regular men from Middle-Earth. However, when Sauron first came about and waged war upon Middle-Earth. The Numenoreans captured Sauron and brought him back. Sauron convinced the Numenoreans to invade Aman, the Undying Lands, and the Gods then sunk Numenor beneath the waves and most of the Numenorians were killed except for the Dunedain. Phew! That's a bit of Lotr history, there's a bit more to it, but that's a brief synopsis

My problem was when he sped the battle up. I don't know if the glitch is still in the game but when setting it to 2X archers fire even faster then if it was normal. I believe this was discovered on Alex the Rambler's channel or maybe Pixelated Apollo's.

Um baron the dwarves of Khazad-Dum or Moria actually fought in war of the last alliance, and the reason why elves and dwarves dislike each other, was that an eleven king named Thingol of Doriath during first age asked the dwarves of Nogrod and Belegost, to combine one of the 3 best eleven crafted gems with one of the best crafted necklaces of the dwarves and so when they did they fought over the new combined necklace, so then the dwarves killed Thingol and the elves killed most of the dwarves, the remaining dwarves escaped and told lies, so them battles and small wars and skirmishes happened

Numenoreans used to have their own island, but once upon a time, their leadership decided to rebel against the Divine deity of the Tolkien universe. Because of that their island home of Numenor was destroyed. There were those who chose not to go against the diety, so they were blessed with longer life, they also created Arnor and Gondor, but Arnor was destroyed by the Witch King of Angmar. The people you called Fountain Guard were also actually the Tower Guard because they guarded Minas Tirith, also known as the White Tower.

I know little about programming, but would it be very complex to set a function where certain kind of warriors tend to automatically make battle formations? Like, if there is a certain number of allies in a given range there is a 50/100 chance (idk if all of them but maybe there could be 1 every 5 for example) of taking a predetermined position (relative to the target ally- that could be the closest within the range-)...or maybe the target could be 1 every 100 (representing an officer) so the rest make a formation towards him, and it would imply that if the officer gets killed the formation breaks. Just anything to make them act more like an army.

Mount gundabad is in the north reaches of the misty mountains. Arnor and gondor were close allies and were even the same kingdom until the king died in the last Alliance. Then they split the kingdom. Aragorn would reunite the lands after LOTR. Numenoreans were men from an island that would eventually sink due to being traitors (long story). The loyal numenoreans would escape to middle-earth and would eventually found the other kingdoms of men and were effectively royalty. Aragorn was a descendent of them.
