I've found that it's more beneficial to get as many barracks down (10-13 workers) within the first 3 rounds, Since your guards shoot from below they can support the starting turrets before the critters get big. Once you hit cap you can always tear them down for the iron.

I personally think that keeping at least 10 workers in the game at all times is the best. Tearing down any more barracks than that (so going below 10 workers) isn't really a good idea - You can see how it goes for Pin in the videos, even though he is winning many of his runs.

Catalyzers are all well and good, but don't forget to invest in the individual turret upgrades as well. It might be costly, but it's worth it in the long run. Especially if you combine the two methods for making your turrets fire more rapidly.

one of the new turrets - railgun its inssane, and with the boosters its so creazy :D I mean im 400 m deep on level 3 and still going with full HP :D

you need to upgrade your shield to lvl 3.. that is indestructible! and your machine gun catalizer, if u dont upgrade yours machine guns you lost a lot dps

Im no expert at this game but one thing i noticed was that even when bugs were pounding on your laser protecting your fragile core you didn't freeze THEM but kept freezing groups midscreen being gunned down. wouldnt it have made more sense to stop the damage being done and let your lower guns clean up below keeping the laser shield going longer?

Not really, freezing the enemies at the bottom to save yourself ‘right now’ isn’t useful if the middle guys show up immediately afterwards and kill you because the bottom guns can’t kill them fast enough. Better to freeze the reinforcements at the top/middle so the top/middle guns can shoot them for longer so they don’t make it to the bottom or at least arrive with less HP so the bottom guns have less enemies/HP to chew through, thus cleaning up faster and saving you more HP in the long run.

Yeah you can do but better off finishing the contract for the rewards while we unlock the upgrades. Plus the video would be 4 hours long and I barely have time for a 1 hour vid lol

I'm not sure the rocket watchtowers cap (5 or 6?). They go great with 5x laser watchtowers.
