Ooh. Magneto's shift when Namor starts suggesting conquest is some good emotion. It really reflects that in spite of his many flaws, there is a core of something noble there. It might get muddied, but in the end he sees the pointlessness and pain of war, and isn't actively seeking one when peace is within reach. ...On the other hand, he is also paranoid and one could see it from the lens of him expecting a war to come to him whether he starts one or not. ...And with human history being what it is and how mutants tend to be treated, he's probably right... At the very least, he's not seeking to be a "conquerer".

It’s weird, his abilities in game are quite true to his actual powers but for the dialogue they act as if he has “telekinesis with metal” instead of control over magnetism.

Most people really don’t know that Magneto’s powers are much more complex than just lifting metal. I have some issues with Magneto’s kit in this game but it’s mainly accurate. I just wish he had the ability to freely fly like Iron Man and Storm by activating a force field bubble around himself.

@@faith4657 he can manipulate the entire electromagnetic spectrum including radio waves, microwaves, gamma rays, x-rays; he can create electromagnetic force fields that can withstand nuclear explosions; he can manipulate gravity; he can fly, and I don’t mean by using a piece of metal to levitate, he can just fly by manipulating the electromagnetic field; he also has a geomagnetic link to earth which lets him affect the magnetic poles and create massive EMPs. Magneto can do so much more than just move metal.

One thing they need to remember is that Magneto doesn't just control metal, he controls magnetism. As in, he can also manipulate the electromagnetic field generated by the electrical impulses of your brain or by the electrons of your atoms.

Its different versions of the characters all coming together. So this Wanda could not be as close with her father as Wanda typically is. But Magneto seems to share the close bon with his daughter that he typically has so he seems to more closely resemble his comic counterpart

Actually the reason for why Magik acts this way is because it's revealed she's working with Apocalypse with her interactions with Moon Knight. Both Magneto and Apocalypse have different methods on how they achieve they're goals, with Apocalypse being alot more ruthless

The only character I am a bit unsure about is Magneto’s voice. James Arnold Taylor is a brilliant voice actor. I love him as Ratchet (R&C), Tidus (FFX), and Obi-Wan Kenobi (SW). But I feel like his voice is too high pitched or young sounding for Magneto. His voice might grow on me eventually, but I would have loved if Matthew Waterson (x-men 97) could have voiced Magneto in Rivals.

They retcon it right before the Krakoa era. So in the official she's never a mutant to begin with and because the House of M event the mutant population have a personal hatred towards her and called her The Pretender. Haven't read much of Wanda but there are little miniseries exploring her relationship with mutantkind after the hellfire gala event. I think they're on neutral terms except for magneto cause she still love his daughter

They're all on good terms for now. It's a lame retcon, she and Pietro are not really the offspring of Magneto, they were adopted (in a evil way, you know, typical drama). I bet they are going to retcon this again in the near future, Magneto having Wanda and Pietro at his side is a classic X-Men imagery, they are his children (legit, not adopted). By the way, I heard about the supposed "true" daughter of Magneto because of Marvel Snap (this game is presenting a bunch of new characters and, for better or worse, the new "lore" ever since Disney took over), she is named Polaris, literally a gender swap, have the same powers, but she dresses in green (what green has to do with magnetism, who knows)
