Believe it or not, this movie was the first thing Yakuza I've ever consumed. It's still a fun movie if you don't take it too seriously. The movie itself doesn't lol. Majima is the best part of it. And the Staminan Royale I think Kiryu drinks at the end to beat Nishikiyama lol

Majima here seems more like Nishitani. Prototype Nishitani. Nishitani is actually genuinely insane guy. Majima is a softy he wouldn't hurt Kiryu that much. He will just simply fight him for fun. While Nishitani would fuck you up very bad for dare messing with him. Although Majima in the first first first Yakuza game (PS2). His original idea was a eccentric psychopath. Seems like the movie followed that idea and did it's own interpretation on Majima.

Wanna guess the actor's name? Goro Kishitani. Yes. And Nishitani is called "Kishitani" in the Y0 files. So Y1's Majima was an excentric villian, 2007 movie followed that Majima, and then RGG decided to revive that Majima in Nishitani, inspired by Goro Kishitani's Majima.
