Had the opportunity to see them on this tour at the whisky , then the next day at a small record shop 5 feet in front of me and 25 others. Ended up kicking it with Chad and Bug all day at the drummer from pennywise s pad. Best day of my life

The reason ALL never got their dues is simple. Their music is raucous and wild but it's also super intelligent which is basically a guarantee that it will probably appeal to about 2 to 3% of listeners.

Then why is Descendents so popular when it's basically the same songwriter/s? I really think it was just how well Milo worked not only a frontman but just as a brand for the band in general. Without him there, people just didn't care as much.

To answer Darren below. I'm pretty sure they didnt get their dues because everyone compares Chad to Milo. And anyone who started on Milo likes him better. Even though Chad is an AMAZING singer and writer. Milo has that classic nerd teen angst feel we all relate to. I love them both. To me, All and Descendents are one in the same.

Sam Powell Yeah... I saw ALL in 95 or so, before Everything Sux was released. They played ALL and Descendents songs. It was so cool to hear Chad sing shit like Coolidge, Pervert, Clean Sheets, and Silly Girl.

also, i read some people complaing about chad price's vocals and lyrics, and im here to say i enjoy his straight forward lyrics. especially the lyrics on think the world and perfection. idk maybe its cause im young and simple minded but i find that fairly relatable.

The only lyrics on the album written by Chad are Until I Say So, Refrain, Honey Peeps and Silence.. Most are by the other dudes, mainly Bill. Than being said I don't see any lack in quality in either lyric.. On the contrary, a hell of a lot better than most pop punk bands, that unrightfully outsold this gem of a record.

Tom wouldn't be in a band as such if he hadn't caught the wave of the Descendents/ ALL both of them are the same band. Milo singing for the former and Chad price Scott Reynolds and Dave Smalley being the three singer's for The latter being ALL. Also see, Big Drill Car, Down by Law, Drag the river, Armchair Martian, The Pavers, Goodbye Harry, Only Crime, Dag Nasty, Alligator Gun, Small 23, just to name a few bands that swirl into the likeness of said aforementioned music. Thanks for the opportunity to speak upon behalf of the great music that has been all the while. No possibility of any of these other bands from the last 15-20 years would be doing what they are without them. Know your music and enjoy in totality by recognizing the percolator it was brewed up in. Cheers and ALL great things to all you guys and gals out there. Keep your ears and your heads up.

i wish i had known about this and descendents when i had first gotten into green day. think would have brightened my world as a child if i had known about this album and everything sucks. i dont know if my little child mind would have been able to handle to the more raw hc sounding early descendents stuff, or the earlier more mind bending side of All. but this one and everything sucks sound like some shit i would have been listening to when i first found green day lol go ahead and call me a poser. i like the earlier All stuff more at this point in my life, but chad's voice is really good.
