Prestons actually insane. He’s very very good at parkour and I expect him to do well in all the movement games. He’s also not bad at all at 1.8 pvp. Not sure how good he is at 1.16 though. The biggest issue for him is just the fact that it’s his first event. But honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if Blue won

Preston is definitely still gonna be good at 1.16 combat because the fundamentals are all the same as 1.8 in shieldless except for how fast you click It's when shields come in to combat that 1.8 players play worse because the fundamental way to play shield is completely different than 1.8 pvp is That being said Preston is going to make that team, he's basically going to be the kreekcraft of Illumina's team in MCCP where he turns out to be super good and the team is super unbalanced

just so you know, 5up is CRACKED at minigames - I was watching him play fall guys earlier today and he was winning more or less every time, so games like HITW and TGTTOSAWAF will be his strongpoint. That and his experience in minecraft, especially vault hunters which is PvE oriented, and experience in Valorant which he is also cracked at, he's gonna be pretty damn formidable in my very biased opinion

And during MCC 14 the Captain’s didnt place third, sixth or ninth, if im not mistaken they placed seventh so his curse could be broken because of that. 5up is good at Minecraft, but I'd say his knowledge of the game technically, is much higher than his combat or pvp skills. When I watch him play, it feels he's good at pvp, but also seems really awkward with movement type games. I think with a little practice, he'll gain more confidence and will be MUCH better. Overall, I'd say he could in the 20 - 30 range at best, but could also fall far below. In the event, I think it's be most fun to watch him play Sands of Time. He's really good at FPS games, so if we get a battle box with cross bows again, I think he'd do really well, same with his hit% in Dodgebolt. In term of movement games, I think he'll have some problems with Parkour Warrior/Parkour Tag and Ace Race, but not as bad in TGTTOSAWAF.

@@kyla2329 i dont think that you can compare dbd to parkour tag, they have very different mechanics AND you dont even jump in dbd at all so I think he will be weak in both catching and running, I'd like to see how it goes but parkour tag running is much harder as the catcher has the same agility, vision of players at at all times and can reach very easily, which makes them more fluid than the dbd killers/catchers who are in 1st person view at all times too.

I was watching 5ups streams after the announcements and he actually said he expected to do better in the "fall guys type games", like Ace Race and TGTTOSAWAF, but weaker in pvp. He's decent with a bow though, and he knows how to crit, plus he's pretty strategic, so while he's defintely not a stronger player, he probably won't be weighing down his team too much and he should be able to find his footing without too much difficulty.

I watch ranboo a lot, and I think he fits around GNF’s level, but more edged towards parkour than PvP. He is really good at parkour, as he’s played maps on some streams, and I think he’s played many maps and gotten good at it before he blew up. He says he’s horrendous at PvP, but I think with TapL’s leadership he could actually do quite well. My guess for his best games are Parkour Tag, Parkour Warrior, TGTTOSAWAF, and Sands of Time. Overall, they’re team will most likely blow parkour games out of the park, Wilbur stating and showing how he’s practiced, and Tubbo recently doing really well in games such as Ace Race, and TGTTOSAWAF. TapL is overall incredible, and will lead them in PvP games. Tubbo is great at PvP, and has proved that in his recent performances in Battle Box, and in Sky Battle due to Tommy’s leadership. I think this team will do very well, and I don’t think it’s bias due to the fact that I’m watching their POV(most likely Tubbo or Ranboo’s)

It really sucks the poor guy didn’t really do it on purpose and it’s happened before he just got the bad end of the stick since his team won. Victory’s are supposed to be enjoyable but he got harassed because of it. I just saw that they announced the teams and I am soo excited. Scott did an insane job creating the teams...I genuinely don't know who to watch. I'll be picking between pink, cyan, green and yellow I believe. I love that Ranboo and 5up are finally in MCC...I think people really really wanted to see them and could not wait any longer haha also not to forget Antfrost and Preston of course... In my opinion it could go either way with Ranboo. I think he will be doing pretty well in movement based games like HITW , Ace Race maybe TGTTOS. Ranboo is pretty good with the trident and has been practicing parcour more and more and also having played some terra swoop force. PVP is not his strongest (also stated by himself), as most of his pvp experience comes from playing on Hypixel. He has been watching MCC for a while so he is familiar with the game modes, by also having played some of them on the practice server on Tubbos account. Ranboo can easily grind for a while to get decently good at games but could also be very overwhelmed/ feel pressured on the day of the event, causing him to place lower. Other than that the energy in this team will just be out of this world, causing them to have a decent chance at team games in my opinion. It all depends on the games being played, how they feel on the day and also on how seriously they want to take the event. I could see Pink Parrots just having fun, sort of goofing around...also concidering Tubbo and Ranboo will probably be in the same room. 5up I feel like is just naturally good at games, learns fast and (as stated by himself) very competitive if he wants to. If he really wants to he can totally sweat a game and be cracked at it. He has decent Mincraft experience on different servers and also having been in Minecraft tournaments before (I forget what it was called, was pvp though). 5up also has experience in playing in other tournaments, like Valorant, that making him used to a competitive environment and pressure. He is generally good at especially movement based games, making me feel like he could do well in like HITW and stuff like that. 5up can communicate very well therefore will be a good addition to any team based game. That team will have good chemestry in my opinon. 5up and Scott have become pretty close through Among Us and 5up and Antfrost are in a friendgroup as well, playing other games like Pummel Party. I don't know Antfrost to well but I know he has been in some other Minecraft and non Minecraft tournaments before, therefore (similar to 5up) beeing used to that kind of environment I'd imagine. Ant is generally experienced in Minecraft and should know the mechanichs of the game pretty well. Thats what I know, but I really can't say who they equal to. At the end of the day it all comes down to how they feel that day, how they can perform under pressure and how seriously they want to take it (also games and game order of course).

Realistically, I'd say Ranboo is about on Par with Tubbo, slightly weaker PVP skills, slightly stronger parkour skills, and his communication with Tubbo when they're trying is actually scary. Like Tubbo I also think his skill set, while decent at everything, very much depends on whether he has a good day and he's able to focus

I am definitely rooting for Orange Ocelots in this MCC, I feel that the chemistry between the players will be amazing. Grian has played with all of his teammates in previous MCC's, so I think his communication with other will be on point. I am a massive Grian fan, and have always wanted him to win an MCC, so hope Orange can win this time! Edit: Also, I think Yellow Yaks will definitely get into Dodgebolt.

i would say ranboo is comparable to wilbur in the sense of his well-roundedness and his inexperience in 1.16/17 pvp. his movement is great and his knowledge of game mechanics are off the charts. i think he will be a very good player who has a clear shot at low 20's and even top 20 if he has a good run throughout this mcc. hope this helps!

Cyan Creepers honestly, idk if these are anywhere near close to how the championship will turn out. i watch most views from different teams after MCC is over, after i watch my favorite team, no matter if i think they win or lose. but normally after MCC is over, i’ll go through VODS and look to see how the different people/teams played. now i dont have access to point systems or anything, and i’m not very smart at math. yellow yaks: tbh, i see yellow placing pretty high up. captain sparklez is great at practically all the games. great at pvp, great defender, and a good support teammate. cpk i see as an also great at MCC teammate, about the same as captain sparklez. punz is very competitive, and very confident in his abilities to do good. he’s great at pvp, and great at attacking. he’s an overall great teammate. and jack manifold is really great support, plus good at some games. i see this team at first or second place. red rabbits: oh the infamous “dream’s team.” dream, overall good MCC player. normally is always top ten of the singular podiums. overall great player, and very competitive. sapnap, same as dream, normally comes top 15 in singular players, and overall a good MCC competitor who is very competitive. micheal, i dont watch his streams, i dont watch his content, and i dont think he’s played an mcc before. i think he’ll be very supportive, and maybe a good defender in battle box. i think he could last pretty long in parkour tag, and i think he’ll do great overall, placing top 30. quackity, VERY supportive, always follows what he’s told to do. he’s getting better at many games. he’ll place top 25 this time. i’m placing this team as fighting for first against yellow, either team having a very good opportunity to get first. green guardians: i mean, i see that green is on 5th place, on your list, but Phil and Tommy are extremely good at working together, their dynamic is great, and they’re very good at MCC in general. tommy being amazing at sky battle, and other pvp games. phil being amazing at tgttosawaf. Fundy is very great at support, and he’s awesome at some games that do with defending the team. i haven’t seen connor play, nor do i watch his streams, but i feel like he would be great at some games and a great support teammate for others. I see this team as coming at 3rd place, or a very close to third, fourth place. pink parrots: i see this team as somewhere from 6th place to 4th place. tapl, dont really watch his content, but i tune in for some streams and watch some videos. i know he places very good in MCC, and i know he’s a great player. he’s got a very good relationship with all his teammates. i see him coming top 10 individually. wilbur, great teammate, excellent MCC competitor, and great supporter. the only problem is that wilbur ALWAYS has bad luck.. every. single. MCC. i’m sure he’ll be fine(?). tubbo, great analyzer, great at the whole competition in itself. he’s a great supporter, and great at following his friend’s leadership roles. ranboo, this is his first MCC. not the… best… at pvp, but he has a very good relationship with all his teammates. probably will be a good supporter/follower teammate. this team is definitely a 6th to 4th placing team. *this took so fucking long to write holy shit*
