Three things I love about the Snyder Cut more than Aquaman: 1.) The way Snyder thought of having Atlanteans have their own language while underwater. Granted Atlanteans have always been able to speak English while being in the ocean, but this gives them a sense of culture. It suggests that they've had to adapt to their new lives in the ocean and create a language in order to communicate, and as we can see, they can also create air pockets in order to help those of us that can't speak Atlantean. 2.) The costume design. For those of us that aren't really big fans of the Speedo look in Aquaman, the armor design in the Snyder Cut feels more authentic to Atlantean culture and tradition. And come on, look at that detail. That's Game of Thrones level detail or even LOTR level detail and it is gorgeous. 3.) Mera's backstory and the fact that she actually put up a decent fight against Steppenwolf. Granted she was nowhere near his league, she still managed to come the closest to killing him by literally sucking the life right out of him. What we saw was a display of power that was limited in capabilities, and given the fact that Mera wasn't strong to begin with, but a skilled sorceress, it was smart to have her have a trick up her sleeve.

​@@superjackster0165 I am not defending Amber, if anything I dislike her for giving women a bad name, but I think it would be wrong to say Johnny Depp was innocent in all of that. There was footage of him shown in court where he could be seen slamming windows and closets while shouting at his wife. And if stories are to be believed he even threw a dog out of the window just because he was angry. That, right there is emotional abuse. Not to mention, it was shown in court how Johnny speaks and thinks of his wife even going so far as to text his friend “lets burn this witch”. I don't know about you but Johnny Depp clearly wasn't a good husband, especially since it was revealed that he does drugs and gets drunk on alcohol (yes so does Amber, I know). While none of this excuses Amber Heard's behaviour, there has to be reason why she is like that. Unless she was born mentally ill, which I doubt because if she were, then Johnny most likely wouldn't have married her in the first place. We will never know what completely went down between Johnny and his poor choice of a wife, since we weren't there, but I think we can say for certain that neither party was innocent in the matter

There’s definitely a continuity error. In the Aquaman movie, only royalty members can both speak in water and in air. And Mera here has a “British” accent. (I suppose the red hair is just effected by the monochromatic lighting here)

I like how everyone is like "she looks different in the movies" whereas to me she looks like a basic woman in a wig and costume. She dont even look good to: its like a basic woman decided to coaplay. She doesnt have the screen pressence. Featuring characters in the wonder woman movies did better. Her in general comes off as "good enough, i guess...hot enough....i guess" Mera is great in the animations but this just came off flat and generic. Ive dead ass seen characters with no lines somehow deliver better when it comes to the body language! Her body language is weak: her expressions are weak. Line delivery is subpar. And it feels like they kept her for the bad publicity because even her co-star hates her guts ... And for those saying we cant replace: we could easily given that there are plenty other Atlantians and that her powers are magic so anyone could technically do what she does- just spice up the character to fit the roll. Cast a new Atlantian? The movie is called Aquamam not "Aquaman and Mera" Or just going based off of how many batmans and supermans we have - again just swap her out? Her fan base wont like it - but there are also plenty who would. The movies dont follow comics anyway due to copyright.
