Honestly when I started watching the show I didn’t like All Might because he seemed too hammy in the first episode. Then they revealed his ‘deep dark secret’ is that he doesn’t have enough strength to protect everyone he wants to protect, and that he’s scared he can’t live up to the responsibility. I love the symbolism in this anime. A lot of people miss it... the scene at the 9:05 mark where Allmight is naked and alone crouching around the flickering flame of One for All trying to keep it lit long enough to fulfill his duty as a hero. That scene symbolizes the poem, "...rage... rage against the dying of the light. Do not go gentle into that good night." That scene is also symbolic of how Allmight's character must have felt all this time... alone... carrying the burden of being the "Symbol of Peace" for society. Then the camera zooms out... to show Allmight alone in all of that cold and darkness... "The light in the darkness"...

I dont know about you guys but if you have constantly watched carlie and ange you'll know theyll still love or at the very least still enjoy the next seasons especially the 2nd half of season 4 lol the only critique I accept for the 'controversial' seasons are the pacings can get a little off but if you love the characters by now you wont be bored of it at all. Something doesn't always have to be an epic beat down brawl for it to be good sometimes I just want to have a good ol' time with the characters being silly and goofy lol Also ofc awesome reaction~ cant wait for more^^

This episode will never fail to make me cry! It's one of my all time favorite eps in the series, the OST, the animation, and All Might's, "UNITED STATES OF SMASH!" Just such a well done ep. Plus, the confirmation that Shigaraki is Nana Shimura's grandson, AFO just wanted another way to mess with/hurt All Might. Of course All Might had to get MVP this ep, no discussion necessary! A few things! All mights last move, the switch and the bait arm only to use the hurt arm again. All for one mentioned he was being influenced by someone in that moment, he used dekus tricks for himself, a way to win he never saw before that deku showed him . 😢😢😢 Also, not sure if you ever watch dub, but this episode is hands down the best episode of a dub performance I’ve ever heard and also 3x4 in the dub is amazing performance by deku

Another incredible and epic episode. Endeavor having his small moment rooting on All Might is huge. Exposing Deku as All Might's successor at this point of the timeline would be lethal here - he's not ready for the mantle just yet - both mentally and physically. Hero-wise as well, he has not fully yet become a hero inside as well - don't get me wrong Deku has that natural "Moving before the body reacts to save another" thing, but he doesn't have the goal-oriented mindset of winning like Bakugo yet. FOR A HERO - BOTH ARE NECESSARY. Anyway back to my thing - Right now, The society is in a sort of calm before the storm state. The clouds of unrest are already starting to form after the sun named All Might got eclipsed, however this hero society is still under the impact of what All Might did this ep which is slowing that storm's arrival right now. BUT THE SERIES OF EVENTS THAT ARE GOING TO PLAY OUT AFTER THIS IS GOING TO BRING THE STORM CLOSER AND CLOSER TILL IT RAVAGES THE HERO SOCIETY WE ARE FAMILIAR TO IN MHA RIGHT NOW.

Well one of the popular fan theories when the manga was still in production was that DEKU is one of the many children ALL FOR ONE had with many women in many disguises! And upon learning that izuku was born quirkless and you will learn why the theory became popular! ( not spoiling, but its about a doctor) and then he sort of abadoned them as deku’s father is never revealed! And that’s why the last fight of the series deku vs tomura is poetically epic because deku, supposedly born from greatest villain all for one and tomura being nana’s, one of the greatest heroes, grandson, is kinda great! Showing that while tomura’s environment warped him, deku became the seed needed for the class 1A and future heroes!
