Hit selecting is much more helpful to lower pings if they are versing high ping (180+) but hit selecting is the most useful for mid-range ping in my opinion. hit selecting sucks for anyone over 230ms cus hit reg and how far you're actually able to hit them is differnt, you just get combo'd unless their mid/high pinger then you can still hit them. great vid everything else was explained well.

Hey im a hypixel sumo godlike (20k wins) just wanted to say all these point are great but above all tech i think aim is key. I regularly play osu and i think that helps. If your aim and spacing is good enough i think your cps dosent matter. It definitely helps but against someone with better spacing its still difficult (this more applies to gamemodes that allow more interactions like classic or boxing) but still i think that strong fundamentals will get you far without knowing how to jump reset or hit select.

Tip: if the opponent on hypixel bw has hi round bridging and you are onestacking, click 20cps blockhit and jump reset, I did that one and if done well, you wont move a block aaaand get hackusated for anti kb :)
