What if I told you that Victor Vance and Tommy Vercetti are two sides of Tony Montana? One side reflects Tony’s good nature, the desire for a better life and to live the American Dream, while the other side thrives on Tony’s darker, ruthless personality-the cold, calculated side that leaves a trail of destruction behind. There’s a tragic twist, though. Despite Vic Vance being the good guy, his death mirrors Tony’s darker side. Tony’s paranoia and ruthless nature, which alienate those around him, are reflected in Vic’s story. Vic just wanted to build a better life for himself, but his good intentions are ultimately undone by the criminal world he can’t escape. His tragic death at the start of Vice City marks the end of his journey, echoing Tony’s own demise in Scarface, where his inability to escape his darker tendencies leads to his downfall. On the other hand, Tommy Vercetti represents the ruthless side of Tony. His survival mirrors Tony’s good side, the part of Tony that understood the difference between right and wrong. Tony, despite his violent and ruthless actions, still had moments of regret, such as when he refused to kill kids or when he expressed guilt after killing his best friend Manny and pushing his wife Elvira away. These moments show that Tony wasn’t completely devoid of compassion. Similarly, Tommy’s survival in Vice City reflects this more compassionate side, as Tommy shows care for people like Earnest Kelly and seeks to get payback on Sonny Forelli. In a way, Tommy’s actions show that Tony’s good side lived on through him, despite the darker path he chose.

*Undoubtedly Vice City is inspired by some motion pictures , but also there's some real life inspirations :* *Forelllis - Gambinos* *Sonny - John Gotti , Thomas Agro , Santo Trafficante* *Tommy Vercetti - Joseph Ianuzzi Jr , Joseph Armone , Thomas Altamura ,* *while the OG Tommy looks more like Ray Liotta* *Vincent Gigante face look applies to the Definitive edition appearance of the character , in addition to the comments from the video Diaz wears a Hawaiian shirt looking like taken off Tony Montana's chest, his temper is also reminiscent of Tony ,in the movie Tony enraged ends His best friend, seems like Lance's fate was inspired by this event, there a possibility, of course Lance bros. seem inspired by the Tubbs bros. , Tony waves an M16 assault rifle while Tommy Colt model 733 , 'cos the M4 was introduced to the market in the '90s , Tommy's failed deal in the beginning beside being inspired by the Ianuzzi Jr. - Agro feud , can also possibly be inspired by the movie Pusher , which is one of Nicholas Winding Refn' first films , The Little Havana Club interior in Scarface is never shown , the movie shows only one scene outside of it , so it's doubtful that the Pole Position club was based upon it , the Cortez's character can be inspired by Manuel Noriega but also by Juan Peron , the Mendez bros can be inspired by the Rodriguez bros , but yes Armando bears some resemblance to Alejandro Sosa*
