You should upload a video of you playing it. There are a couple of talented musicians on YT that have covered soap opera themes. Lance Jackson plays 50s/60s soap themes on the organ and they sound identical to the originals.

Started watching AMC in the early 80s as a kid with mom. I loved this original theme and reading the names of the characters just now I remembered them all. These scenes at the end with no dialogue were great and made you feel like Pine Valley was real lol

you had fun plating at recess...you came in for lunch....then it was story time....you got your blue bed to sleep on the lights went out and you can hear this theme song playing in the teachers office and the quiet sets in.....you look around at the other kids sleep and you can still hear the laughter and playing you did while you're dozing off. sweet dreams... smh...memories just makes you feel good inside.

The original theme is nice, but I’ll be honest, the 1990-1994 theme will always be the AMC theme to me. The original theme seems too “1950s prior”. Maybe if they jazzed it up! It just doesn’t age well...especially in the 1980s.
