@@darlened7948I agree and when something like this takes place with elderly homeowners it’s time to check in on them to see if they need any help. They may have thought they could handle it, but that is a huge undertaking and without the right equipment they would never have been able to do it. I turned 80 in June, and in my head I make plans to do lots of things, like going to Home Goods or TJ, or anyone of several things I used to do, but when it gets down to it, I change my plans and just stay home. I did my last big project last year when I was just 79, I cooked a pork butt, a brisket, a Texas sheet cake, bbq beans, Mac & cheese, eggplant parm (Son is vegan) and got the stuff to make the best refreshing drink, non alcoholic. It all about killed me! So I have retired. 😂

That was a HUGE job but you and the crew knocked it out like it was nothing at all. I'm one of those people that hate to trim back anything, I've since come to my senses. I'm very careful with ivy, because it can stick like Crazy Glue to tree trunks. I couldn't believe how it grew to the window screen. Mine never went up the side of my house because I heard it was very bad for the bricks, never knew it grew into screens, wow. Anyway, on to the next challenge, you guys did great on this property !!

Nice your crew knew where to step in and do their parts. Looks like you've been working towards getting an overgrown and aging property back to "restored". It is progressing and coming along nicely. Should look another chunk better by the end of the growing season. Wet field area. Looks like you've had a lot of rain. The window screen is cosmetic. I don't know if soaked, that the dead Ivy remains would come off but a screen replacement, rebuild or new is possible. Since it is so visible, the other cosmetic I would consider, eventually, is spraying down the moldy wall sections with a bleach solution. At 17:31, you can see the "normal home" aspect coming in. That was a gorgeous result, congratulations to all.

I'm curious how cities even have the right to violate private property as not even the police have the right to enter private property unless called by owner or witness to current crime seems like a cash grabbing scam to me as theywork for the taxpayers we don't work for them.

USA is one of few countries where this is possible. Even in Sweden, where cities have huge power, what's in a person's yard is none of their business. If you run a junk yard, it's another thing but vegetation is not possible to enforce. Not even if you have your garden full of Japanese Knotweed or any other plants not on the EU list of completely banned plants. And that list is short.

@H⚙meW⚙rk You are talking about things that require permits for additions for a home and dogs that could potentially bite someone or get in a fight with another dog basically public safety issues kind of an apple vs. orange debate. your lawn doesn't bite, and unless invading a sidewalk that is city claimed property how does it become your problem, government overreach in my opinion.
