There're certain things I love about spring.
When the soft breeze🎐 brushes past my cheeks and gently rustles my hair, it takes all my troubles away.
When the warm sunlight 🌞cascades down, it feels like my mom giving me a big hug, so comforting and reassuring that my heart just melts.
When Binghua 🐕nudges me with her nose and looks at me with those big brown eyes, she's loving this just as much as I do.

🌸Sour-pickled Fruit:
➡️Ingredients: green mango, guava, starfruit, cucumber, green dates, plum, green papaya, pineapple, apple.
➡️How to make:
1. Make sour water: add glutinous rice vinegar to plain boiled water. Add some Granulated sugar.
2. Pour the sour water in jars and let it sit for 3 hours.
3. Chili salt: chili powder, sour plum powder, salt and tabasco pepper
🌸Lemongrass Chicken Finger:
➡️How to make:
1. Add ginger, peppercorn, scallion, cooking wine to plain water.
2. Boil chicken finger in it for 8 min.
3. Out with it and give it an ice bath.
4. Pound them till they’re evenly mixed. [Mashed garlic, tabasco pepper, coriander, onion, lemongrass, lemon, lime, Thai sour chili sauce, light soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar.]
5. Hand-stir chicken finger with the mixture we just made.
🌸Egg Tarts:
➡️Ingredients: eggs, light cream, milk, granulated sugar
1. Mix them up and sieve them.
2. Pour it in pastry shells.
3. Bake for 25 min in the oven at 180°C.
4. Top with whatever fruit you like and cream and Ovaltine.
🌸Taro Paste:
➡️How to make:
1. Steam taro and purple sweet potato.
2. Dump in blender along with milk, light cream, granulated sugar, butter.
3. Passing it through a sieve would give it a more nuanced taste.
🌸Taro Paste Boba:
➡️Ingredients: tapioca, taro paste, muscovado sugar
➡️How to make:
1. Knead it.
2. Chunk it.
3. Wrap them with tapioca so they won’t all stick together.
4. Dump them all in once water is boiled.
5. Give them an ice bath.
🌸Sandwich:
➡️How to make:
1. Air-fry sausages for 15 min at 180°C. Flip them over into 7 or 8 minutes.
2. Cut toast into thick slices and fry them.
3. Make cheesy soft scrambled eggs: eggs, milk, salt, cheese and mix them up; cook with butter.
🌸Yuanyang Tea:
➡️Ingredients: earl grey tea, coffee ice cubes.
Earl Grey tea: Boil it for 5 min and let it sit in the pot with a closed lid for 10 min.
