I prefer the zipper pocket on the back. Thanks for the great hack!

Lots of people like the zipper on the back too! Thanks for watching! ❤️

I was actually going to put the zip pocket on the back as that’s where I prefer to keep my phone. Nice to see how it looks on a finished bag. Thanks 😊

Thanks for the suggestion. Going to try this one this week. Just did the firefly tote by noodle head which was a fun sew.

Great! Just checked out the Firefly...did you use waxed canvas?
@kristithiel35743 жыл бұрын
@@RenePerryDesigns93 No I used mid weight canvas for the exterior a pretty floral canvas for accent and waterproof canvas for interior. Never worked with waxed canvas. I need to order some

I love the look of wax canvas...if you order some let me know how you like sewing with it. 😁

I'm cutting out my first Kaitlin and I''d love to know how you got the thin strip of lining to show around the edges of your zips, I love that look. Thanks for your videos 🙂 FYI: Spencer Ogg patterns are all designed for domestic machines.

I just iron it that way with a little showing. Sometimes it’s not on purpose! 😁 Enjoy the sew! Thanks for watching! ❤️

I got the pattern and I am going to try this next week. I wish there was a tutorial to go with it. Thanks for recommending it!

Yay Sherry! You will love the Kaitlin. I did a 3 part tutorial on sewing it. If it’s not detailed enough for you, just let me know. Maybe a do over video?! Can’t wait to see yours! ❤️

Great save. Good for you. A real quick n easy sew is the SweetPea Saddlebag by Blue Calla. It’s a free pattern, which is nice. I made major changes to mine (put a zipper in the front flap, enlarged it, added slip pocket for phone on the back, zipper over-lays, and recessed top zipper closure). I changed lining and inside pockets as well: zip fob, pen pocket, etc... It’s a great “blank slate” that’s easy to modify.

Tori at Seams Legit did a quick tut on one last year. Plain version, no add ons. It can be super quick to sew. High profit bag. 👍

Thanks Cyn! I will check out the Sweet Pea bag. I was also thinking about the Acacia by Bagstock. They might be similar. It’s also a free bag. I love watching Tori too! Thanks for all your great suggestions ! ❤️

I prefer your new design 💕 I actually think for me having the slip pockets on the front would make it quicker and easy to slip a phone in and out of than it would with having them on the back of the bag. They all look great! Loving that black and white one with the red accent. I’m a lover of black, white, and red. I actually bought some red vinyl last week to make a black and red bag. I’m going to let loose and have a bit of fun with it 😆 Looking forward to seeing what you make next 😃
