Hi E.J.😌🙌I did have an oncidium twinkle. It had grea' leaves in the cooler winter temperatures 10/20℃. I had an oscillating fan going on and off through the day. The oncidium suffered with high temperatures when I took it outdoors and it died at 35℃ last summer in the shade. It really needs cool indirect light and just moist medium😌🙏💖I enjoyed watching🥰👏

Thank you for sharing your knowledge on them! I do have make some good changes I know. Good light, not too much. Not to warm and air movement and moist. So have that! But I think I do have them a bit to wet in these pots. I will try them in net pots, in Semi Hydro. SO that they have more air around the roots. Maybe that helps? … we will see! :D Thanks!

Hi EJ, they are adorable. I used to grow them and a few other oncidium types but the leaf tip die back drove me nuts!!! I truly think that it is something that the plant just does for some unknown reason. I see lots of orchid growers in Florida have them in tress and there are those yellow leaf tips. I hope you can solve this mystery and maybe I will try them again if you do!😊🥰😍

LOL.. I will try my best! Bud I do understand why you do not grow them anymore. It's not fun if they keep look so bad. And I also do see this problem with other growers and there Twinkles. But, maybe one day I will find the answer to this problem! :D

I have rot with my twinkles..but i can grow the Sotoanum no issues
