In japanese, 39 reads as San-Kyu which sounds like Thank You in a Japanese accent. it could also mean Miku which is why it's so popular to the vocaloids. search the song Sankyu (39) it kinda explains it.

Another good place is ebay, but don't buy from China, Hong Kong, or Malaysia since they tend to sell fakes. I trust Japan sellers because I bought from them and got an official Miku Figma. You can learn how to decipher fakes and official items all over the web, but if you need help let me know.
