So many beautiful books! I understand how hard it can be to touch pen to paper for the first time in a book. It's like getting the first scratch on a new car.

@@winter89_colours it is so hard! And there are always so many books to be had but I need to be more restrained and not buy any until I have completed pages in the ones I have. Hopefully I can stick to that 🤞. Thanks so much for watching!

I had the same experience in enchanted Christmas last year,that I started in alcohol markers.so yep I took the page out,and pretended that it didn't happen lol😮 Now I print out amazon pages onto paper I like,even though that makes me frustrated because I would much rather color straight from the book....but in the end you need to do whatever makes your coloring experience a good and happy one 😊

@@daniellelovescoloring6791 oh - I think that’s what I’m going to have to do with my page - I really can’t bring myself to go back and try and fix it 🤦‍♀️. Such a shame the paper isn’t better.

I am currently working on a page in a Teresa Goodridge book. I will say her pages take a while to complete, at least in my experience. Also, in my opinion the paper in her books is not as good as Amazon paper. I have an easier time working on that paper than the Creative Haven books. The paper is really toothy, textured, and rough in my experience. I also found the paper in Enchanted Christmas to be far worse than the other titles. I am not sure if it just my copy, but it's really difficult to work on. I also have a huge stack of Mythographic books uncolored. I had to reign myself in with buying more of them. I also find these pages take a long time to color, and I am not a fan of the paper in these either, which is likely why I haven't colored in them more. Thank you for sharing all your lovely books! 💖

@@nicolemarie011 thanks so much for watching Nicole Marie! I agree about the Creative Haven paper - I find it a bit too toothy for my liking as well but maybe it’s good for watercolours 🤷‍♀️. They are quite detailed pages so I can imagine they take a long time. I’m not sure if I want to destash them or keep them 😬

I think we all have this 'problem' I haven't bought any books for a while & don't intend too, apart from Lulu's new book in January & Kerby's. I've been buying pdfs from Etsy, found them great. Buying the odd page gives me a fix & it actually gets done straight away.
