I love the low BR set up. My favorite vehicle is the early StuG. I also like the IAR Romanian fighter. The flavor of low BR is where it is at for me. I will slowly grind gear and troops, while enjoying my Mannlicher, K98, MP40, and Seimenstadt Volksturm. The early flaregun-grenade launcher is okay at low BR.

This is perfect for my situation because I’ve only played less than a week now and was already planning on just getting a perfect setup for tier two and grinding on that primarily until I have a full setup for tier five. I’m a newbie that is playing Japan I have the first 4 tanks also far. But in BR 1 in my opinion the Type 98 Ta-Se is the best because it’s fast, small and the 20mm auto cannon is very underrated. I use it as infantry support, literally. I usually camp in trees and behind rocks to snipe squads at bridges and chokepoints. It gives a wide field of view when driving the tank so you can spot enemies and tanks more easily. I’ve been stacking up kills with this method. Sometimes if you aim well you can deal with a lot of enemy tanks as well plus it’s fully automatic it’s good for newbies that is having a hard time aiming

I'm lvl 36 Japan tank division and I've only killed 10 tanks with the 20mm at most.thats not to say I haven't slain hundreds of infantry. I do the same, sit in the trees and try to get higher ground over enemy infantry and support the objective. Super effective when the area objective is a wooden house. Just bam bam bam bam across the house, racking kills. 20mm life

Na if we are to get more France, it should be early war invasion of France. That way we can get early war/low br stuff for the allies in the for of French tanks, planes and weapons. As well as maybe some British stuff and some things from other nations that fell in the offensive, Belgium, Holland, Denmark etc.

Low BR has given me a reason to purchase and use the gold order suppressed M3. It is very fun to use and roleplay, plus you are safer from bots suddenly detecting you and one shotting you from the hip

The default medic SMG is probably the best American SMG for awhile. Grease gun does have more manageable recoil but the firerate on the Ries is great.

Also: although it’s now long gone from the store(as are alot of gold order weapons that are outstanding in BR II), the mkb 35/III is basically just a 20 round assault rifle… so if you got em when they were available, they’re awesome if you miss using an assault rifle.

For anyone who played Stalingrad and managed to unlock the engineers, there is a pretty well hidden trick: your engineers can build ampulomets which can dish out some constant fire damage. That itself is pretty hard to get on lower BR since the flametroopers are BR 3. Also the squad has a medic slot for even more team support. And if you got the access pack, the engineer II version of the squad can do all of that *plus* build an mg nest, making it the best engineer squad overall.

If you want some variation and you can afford it, I highly recommend trying some of the BR 2 bolt-action rifles, and if you want a semi-auto, you can even grab the Armaguerra mod. 39!

I'd just like to say that while I agree with a lot of choices, I think the T50 tank is the clear choice. The T50 is almost Puma mobile, extremely durable, and can be hard to see.

I have actually found the Hurricane to be really awesome because of its pretty tight turns and huge MG capacity. You can strafe an area and just totally saturate it. The 250lb bombs aren't too shabby either

I like snipers for example, you can't do everything alone for exp. last game I had 2 tank marked for 4min+ held down a cap point,hunted 3+ enemy snipers,spotted and destroyed 2 spawn points but the cap point was across the bridge and I called out to do not cross the brige go around, my team rushed the bridge for 6-7min and no matter how hard I tried to aid them the lack of sense was too strong.

I joined just before the merge so I luckily unlocked some higher BR items and extra squads. I currently focus on BR1 Germany but find myself being constantly put in Normandy and Ardennes facing BR3. I still manage ok and prefer roleplay and realism over firepower. I can however see how this may become frustrating in the future especially for new players.

yeah matches are grouped with BR 1-2 and 3-5 so if you have a squad equipped that is a BR 3 you will be put in those matches. Use only BR 1-2 to stay in that tier matches

I would play APC squads, but as a free-to-play, i have to bring out all three of my infantry squads due to squad cooldown. Wish they had an option to spawn the squad without the vehicle, like paratroopers

Use the T-28E if available, much mor resistant to AT fire. Also, the M3 Lee is better than the Grant as it has one more machine gun.

for low BR snipers are usually stronger, for high BR i prefer MGs. only exception are germans, who get 3 of the best sniper full auto weapons in the game. dual wielding both sniper stg/mkb and having the distance advantage is better than having a MG gunner that acts as just another mid range soldier

I agree I have like 4-5 gold weapon order guns in each country’s army, as well as atleast 2 gold order for vehicles. And I only use one for the Germans and one for the Soviets. My tier 5’s I’ve put in storage because the battles and matches I’ve had in T2 with basic and ordinary weapons with basic vehicles. Are so much better. It sucks when I see them collecting dust I’ll re equip them and head out and yeah, either get steam rolled with squads fully decked out or it’s insanely one sided and we just steam roll. But T2 matches atleast here recently I’ve had matches last Forever like, damn when is this game gonna end because it was neck and neck the entire way thru. Love it.

@@paradivision1362I was just about to suggest trying the Browning because it was recommended in another tier 2 loadout guide and it’s been a blast for me. I used to resent switching to my full engineer squad just to make sure I could get some rally points up because they just felt like a smaller rifleman squad but ever since I made the switch they feel like they have a true dual purpose and can really help keep the pressure on

the highest BR among all your equipment must be 2. a single item higher puts you in BR3. you can mix BR 1 and BR 2 though as that makes you also BR 2.

Low BR is fun but if you meet a BR3 tank in your BR1-2 tank, you are fucked 90% of the time. I really really don't like that.

Thats the reward for risking 50/50 up BR, down BR in BR3, besides, it is realistic, most of the time tanks do not fight other tanks. Early war strategy was tanks fight infantry, anti tank guns fight enemy tanks. If you are using low BR tanks, focus on fighting infantry and avoiding enemy tanks. I bring the Panzer IVJ but also BR1 tanks because it is fun.

@14:26 you fool! The motorbike squads are awesome- and when equipped with an Engineer can play almost exactly like the APC squads, but they’re even more mobile! Though the bike with the bren is a bit silly mg-wise, it can still cart a very versatile engineer along with two riders to anywhere you want them to be quickly.

They have some insane xp grinding for a tier 2 squad. Needing around 60k before even getting to put an engineer on the squad. Also only having two people really limits the dismounted capabilities. The only way to have a bigger motorcycle squad is to buy the premium.

I know those video was posted 6 months ago but if anyone is watching now i just played 10 matches last night with a friend and obv as a BR 1 we are getting matched with BR2 and getting completely sweated on. For example. I was playing on a Tunisia map (dont know the name of it) and an enemy on the other team brought a M3 Lee and sat right inside his spawn on a cliffside highpoint so infantry could not destroy him with AT equipment. As a Germany BR1 player there is absolutely nothing i can do but just get obliterated by it due to Germany not having any useful AT for anything against BR2 tier since Germany does not unlock engineers etc until a little later on. Dont get me wrong the game is really fun to play but the matchmaking even in low BR now is brutal and the PZ II C is atrocious against other tanks and is very squishy to even compete against BR 1 and 2 tier tanks. The PZ II C is mainly good for Anti Infantry and supporting your own infantry to help secure points but it is NOT good as a stand alone “Lone Ranger” combing the battlefield getting kills by itself. Hope they fix this matchmaking issue because it is a real big turnoff for new players just trying to have fun and unlock new equipment.

@ParaDivison1362 What are your thoughs on if Officers became their own class/soldier type for enlisted. As well as coming with alot of uniforms that are unique to their soldier type. As well as unique to their nation. As well as having a series of abilities they can use like a radio operator, such as the ability to call in reinforcments, aka a back up squad of AI bots to replace your bots that are already dead. Or even just arrive ad a separate squad that follows you around in general, as well as the officer being a force multiplier lile if your attacking the point with other players the momentum becomes double per player on the point, but to balance the officer so it doesn't get abused make it so this passive buff does not stack with multiple officers on the point at the same time so the buff only applies for as long as one officer is still allive. As for the reinforcments aspect i could picture it being anything from paratroopers or simply bots that appear from no where within a set radious of the officer and they come to you after you call for them. The same could go for if A.I controlled APC's could arrive with the reinforcments but i highly doubt darkflow knows how to code the AI to follow rodes or drive vehicles even though i am fairly sure Gaijin had AI controlled players in warthunder.

In the squad upgrades, what does it mean when it says "increases the maximum amount of soldiers in reserve by 1". If I remove soldiers from the squad it automatically forces me to add them before I can close the change soldier screen. What exactly does this blue upgrade do?

its a filler unlock that basically does nothing but slow you down. it increases the amount of soldier you can take out of the squad and out to the right side, since the space in the right side is limited

at BR2 I love the soviet t28 tank, the short 76 with HE is a monster but the devs chose to put the worst fucking AP shell ever created it can't even pen a panzer 2 most of the times bruh

thats a sad dissonance among both weapons. since the semi auto comes out only on short range, where the recoil perk isnst needed much, maximizing bolt speed is better.

They still there. Gives you a couple of extra radio support options. Maybe a faster radio cooldown, not sure. Basically half a rifle squad otherwise. Options for radio support: HE arty, bombers, smoke arty, paradrop supply box.

The japanese were not the only ones who used scopes on machine guns, Germans used night vision on Mg 34 and Mg42

Hens teeth, it's like the night vision on panthers. They had the technology, but barely and it needed a giant infa red light, or for soldiers an giant back pack, same applies for the mgs. The Germans did use conventional scopes on mg 34 heavy mounts. But not done on the 42 really because the way the mg 42 was used was different to the 34.

The allied low BR machineguns are not good in aimed down firing it's a sort of assault machine gun heavy on hip fire. :D I hip fire it to its full effect. XD

IAR aint that good, you basically trade a 250kg bomb for climb and turn rate. Semi descent team will consistently shoot you down as you are slow as fuck. The 250kg bomb is a crutch for pilots with horibble aim. There is nothing what can singular 250kg bomb do better than 4x50Kg on BF109F2 plus you get all the fancy stats of the Bf. Bjut sure, if you only kamikaze then why not, but Stuka is better at it.

the game is cool, but mostly just wasted potential, it shows how bad gaijin is at development, how little they care at all, the game could be so much better but they cant even get the basics to work, wonky mechanics, cross platform priority, bad old controls, no joystick and pedals support... rlly?, awful animations, holly fuck they cheap out in animations, they are stiff as a lead mannequin lol and whats with the arcade tank aiming?? it literally bends the shots at will, making impossible to shot with debris in front of you because it will bend the bullet towards the debris even if is dozens of matters away from your gun trajectory xD

First off don’t listen to this guy. Just buy that pack and put on the BR-V gear but only on one soldier. The game will at worst register you as low BR-III at worst or BR-I at best. You’ll always have that one squad that will wipe all the bolt action squads like AT, Riflemen, Engineers. These are the most common squads chosen in the game. Definitely not misinformation btw

Ive uninstalled. This game is not fun & the devs dont know what to do. I now see why people complained about historical accuracy, it kept the game sorta balanced.
