Unpopular opinion, but I generally prefer the older cinema of fear figures. Wish they'd of carried on doing all the Jason's. Had all of the Jason ultimates at one point, right before Roy came out and decided to sell em all. May get them again eventually if they continue with 8/9/10... which it'd be about damn time we got an 8.

This was a great review. I like how you showed all the details and told us some things that there is no way we would have known by the pictures or box cover. In particular the part 2. I think I'll avoid that one. Space is at a premium in my small room and I already took measurements and can fit 3 on my shelf. Not in Ultimate's. Long ago, NECA made a box sets with Part 1 Pam. Like a mini statue, almost no articulation. They also made a retro cloth version too but these are all the "Ultimate's" from the movies.

I believe NECA does have plans for it, but the Friday the 13th franchise was tied up in a lawsuit the past 2 years so they weren't issuing any licensing. The lawsuit was settled earlier this year so hopefully something is coming soon.

No, because I was told the 8 inch version has a suit sewn into the body. So doesn't slip off like the Ultimate. I did however cut the base body in places to add more deeper articulation

Perhaps it's the lighting. Mine almost looks like a bootleg compared to yours but I bought it at Target about 5 years ago. I must do more investigating.

I soaked the head in hot water to get the mold release cleaned off, then you just paint the bone white and use a brown watered down wash over it.
