I appreciate this game continuing to hammer the nails in the coffin of anyone who things Sothe and Micaiah ended up together in the end. Micaiah clearly always saw Sothe as a little brother no matter how much Sothe was into her.

That's a weird take. That Sothe was in love with Micaiah but she had familial feelings for him? Idk, I kinda figured it was just an incest thing. They get married *by default* after all. Their dialogue as a bridal duo hero can also be taken in certain ways "Or have I missed some nuance?" "He was like a little brother, until..." The angle they seem to be going for is a dynamic where a character sees another one in a younger sibling kind of light but then becomes a potential love interest when they realize how much they've grown up. It's not that strange when you think about it that way, I've seen something similar before. Like Kataang, I suppose (I never thought they had romantic chemistry but they turned out to be a canon couple) You know, that meme, "hey, you're cute" "oh... in a 'harmless little brother' kind of way, right? 😞"

@@amazinggrapes3045 it is true that if you leave their support they get married, but that’s why I break it instantly. Sothe’s obsession with Micaiah is a little creepy given their history prior, and so it’s why I dislike it. I’m not a very big fan of ships that are distinctly one sided. More specifically, it’s okay if the other doesn’t show a clear different opinion. Sonic and Amy isn’t a good ship because Sonic clearly dislikes the idea of any romantic engagement. Sothe and Micaiah isn’t good because Micaiah clearly sees him like a brother and has much clearer romantic chemistry with other characters (Pelleas especially.) Catria and Marth aren’t good because Marth clearly loves someone Caeda. Something like say… Apollo Justice and Juniper Woods is fine because while Juniper shows affection for Apollo, he shows no distaste for her or special interest in anyone else. So yeah, I haven’t seen ATLA, so I can’t judge that ship. But I dislike the dynamic Sothe and Micaiah had ending Romantically
