Nice! No mention of any of those updates on Minicat's web site, so it was a pleasant surprise to see them here. Looking forward to the full assembly video.

How does the minicat compare with the centerboard catamarans in terms of ability to beach? Are the smartkat and happycat safer for shallow waters? Is there a significant difference in terms of performance between cats of the same size/sail area? Do the centerboard ones point any better than the minicat?

What the hull is under 7 years of warranty? from minicat? where did you get this info?

This was an official change in the MC Warranty Policy in 2023. For what it’s worth, I’ve been a dealer for Minicat since 2015, I’ve sold hundreds of Minicats in that period, I’ve never had a hull warranty claim.

No, if you purchased your minicat before November 2023, your minicat has a 24-month warranty. After that date and it’s covered under a 24-month boat warranty and a 7-year hull skin warranty. If you send me an email at [e-mail], I’ll send you the official Minicat warranty policy.
