I own a '22 Maverick Lairat and am very happy with the great gas mileage and the versatility it offers and cost me much less than a new Ridgeline. Glad you like yours, though.

The more they upgrade features the more it will cost, you’ll be in a Ranger price point, so just get a Ranger.

looks like they are going to kill the affordability of this vehicle, glad I got my order in even though it took 2 years. If I wanted a nicer vehicle, I woulda just ordered a different truck since every single company has super fancy trucks with all sorts of crap available to add on. Hopefully I am wrong and they still have a XL or XLT at a sub 27k price.

Was going to buy one here in Canada in 2023 but the box was to short ,if they make the extended cab model with a longer box would be more useful for guys that work in the oil,gas and home construction business here in Canada ,I've talked to a lot guys up here and they would luv to dump their big hulking crew cab lousy gas milage beast ,alot of them are looking for multi purpose smaller pickup ,WITH decent power and gas milage and easier to park on crowded construction building lots

A emphasis on the increased production/availability of a bare bones base XL for tradesman, contractors and fleet vehicle purchases is needed. Get back to the point of what this vehicle was originally intended for. A cheaper, more available, less frills, less gadget and gizmo obsessed option would be a popular option too. In addition to appeasing to the weekend Costco and Starbucks urban warriors, Ford needs to step up to the the needs of weekday warriors and the get stuff done work hard for a living crowd too. A cheaper, small cab, long bed and basic base model designed more for what "you" put in it(tools, gear, equipment...) as opposed to what Ford builds "into it" is needed.

My '23 Ford Maverick XLT Hybrid popped of the assembly line in October of '23. Technically, it's a '24 cause the normal assembly cycle starts in June or July the previous year. That's how backed up Ford was in delivering this model to the showroom floor. The '25 is not much different than my '23. My only lament is I have no adaptive cruise control, a minor con in the scheme of things. Hey, if your unibody drives like a sedan, give us the real creature comforts. I love this truck. Cheers!

James, Ford is not going to completely redesign the Mav. I doubt even a longer bed because that impacts Ranger sales even more. Maybe a plug in hybrid or maybe a hybrid AWD. The truck will basically look like the ones I show on my channel, ordered at the original launch in summer of 2021.

Why is it that you reference the 2.0L EcoBoost as the "Non Preferable" engine choice? If you opt for the Hybrid, you don't get AWD and I for one want nothing to do with a Plug-In Hybrid engine choice. As far as I'm concerned, until the Hybrid version is offered with AWD, I want the EcoBoost engine if I buy this truck.

It's non preferable because about 70% of the trucks being sold are hybrids.

Already ruining the Maverick. Give Ford the leeway and they'll have the Maverick costing 50K by 2027 for loaded models. Most of them with questionably beneficial tech and well overpriced add-ons. Like $900 for a floor mat group! Friends, this is what WalMart and Amazon are for!!!!

Nice truck even the base model I test drove one I really wanted it in and out it's a very nice truck I do not like the orange trim inside but the black is the way to go also the engine bay is very disgusting looking like Ramen noodles where dropped on top of the engine there's no wore tuck what so evers it's very ugly under the hood besides that I likes it but I back off because of the noodles on top of the engine bay. No bueno please fix that ford it's asking for a wire tuck badly
