Have you tried messaging them? I’ve heard they used to sell frames if you contacted them directly even though it wasn’t on the website. Maybe that was just them getting rid of stock at the time, though.

Big props for 2 water bottle mounts in a full suspension trail bike frame! You usually only find that in XC bikes.

Love the review! I’m 6’4” 210lbs and looking at this or the stumpjumper comp alloy. I haven’t been seriously riding in a long time and was curious how the short chain stay would fair for me? I’m definitely borderline beginner to intermediate.

Both are awesome bikes! The shorter chainstays make for a bit more agile, "playful" feel on the Ari, but the specialized is actually surprisingly light and nimble feeling too, even with the longer rear end. I think you'll be stoked on either; though obviously you'll be getting nicer components on the Ari given their direct sales model

Longer rear end will be more stable for sure. I'm surprised the chainstays are so short. Are they trying to make this a shirt travel status?

Previously they weren't competitive on paper with value brands like marin or polygon but last time I checked their frame were still made by either axman and sanfa who make arguably better frames than polygon Indonesian factory who produce marins too, just look at those marin welds, ooof 😂 Anyway it's a very good frame with US in house QC controls, a bit like pivot. Considering all that it's a friggin great value if you're looking for a Horst link fs...

What's wrong with horst link?

I'm confused on this video you say suspension active while climbing and peddling but in your future video you say it's a great climber and pedals well Which is it?
@99spokesАй бұрын
Great question! This guy's strengths are going to be climbing more technical terrain with lots of roots and rocks, the more supple suspension soaks this up, maintaining grip and allowing you to focus on continually putting power down.

Does itpedal on flats better than the polygon t8?@@99spokes

How does this compare to the stumpjumper alloy comp? Seems like similar geometry.

The Cascade Peak more refined, which mostly comes down to the higher quality components it’s specced with. Ride feel is pretty similar; both bikes do a good job of balancing performance at speed with a more playful demeanor
