Here's a fun fact at the beginning of the game at Henry's father's forge you can find the shield with the golden hand on it.. I found some bandits near skalitz with that shield so I dont think it's new just very rare to find it

You can find the heavy shield with the boar in the mission of Robers baron if you choose to parley with them. If you want to kill them instead, you will find a heavy shield with a heart inflamed (just like the sigil of Stannis Baratheon in GOT). For the Gold hand shield, I found it randomly in a bandit attack north ouest of Sasau on the other side of the river. Also you can find the golden hand shield in Vranik camp, there was a guy wearing it while I was on mission there.

Pretty sure Cuman brigandine, Heraldic Neckchain and Dark combat jacket arent part of the DLC I had them prior to downloading.

Thanks for this video! Disappointed that I have to choose between the guardhouse and the stables as I already built a stable without knowing that I loose my stance of obtaining the sinew bow. I use archery a lot

Yeah me too...The first time i did this dlc, i built the stables without reading the description carefully, and it ended with me pretty dissapointed...But the new horses are nice.

The boar sheiks was added in the band of bastards and you can pick it up hanging on their tent with the other shields

Targe shield? maybe its a typo and meant to be target shield. just a guess but it would explain the low defence rating

Apparently its a historical weapon used by highlander scots that was a spiked shield used for bashing.

You see, thats one of those things that i just can't know, because every playthrough ive done of this game, it is always bugged and Hans Capon won't talk to me after "Next to Godliness" So i have never been able to play Robber Baron.

@@Dare_To_Game It used to be the boar shield but they changed it with the DLC. Now the boar shield is in Pribyslavitz and the Robber Baron guy has a red shield with a flaming white heart. Hans Capon won't talk to you for a little while after Next To Godliness. It took a few visits to Rattay got me before he did. I think the quest locks after you escape Vranik. And there is a problem where Hans won't wear any clothes into battle.

Sorry Nico, but those combat jackets are not new. I have been wearing the dark combat jacket for quite a while. I have found several of the Heraldic Neck Chains when looting Traders in the Hold Up locations, and they are also not new. I am pretty sure that I have looted the Green Noble's Hood from Traders as well. It is worn by the same Trader that is wearing the Noble's Hat, which is also green. The Sinew Bow can be purchased from the Archery Range vendor or stolen from one of the two chests in the shed from behind the Guard House. I stole mine, since I felt that I had already paid for it once. :-) It is a nice upgrade from the Yew Longbow. I have not checked the other chest in the shed to see if the shield might be in there. Once I found the bow, I stopped looking.

Acts 13:41 You are absolutely right. Is the same for me here. I have most of those itens before the update and the DLC too. Anyway... I want some way to find if i can buy or pick the Boar Shield in the village, since i choose to have a swordsmith in the village. I hope the Shield is not locked for me to buy/pick.

I know that there is no way to get the new sword if you have the armorsmith, so I think it is impossible to get the new shield if you have the weaponsmith. From what I understand, those items are not loaded into the game itself until the vendor is loaded.

Yeah, thats where i found all these items, during hold ups, but before the 1.5 patch, i had never encountered these items, nor seen them on any other NPCs, perhaps with the exception of the green hood, as someone pointed out, it may be the same one that tobias feyfer wears. This could just be my experience, and perhaps they were in the game before 1.5, but that is the first time i came across them.

2:43, it's not a mistake. The targe is a type of spiked shield used for bashing. I'm not sure of the capabilities but it could definitely cause bleeding damage against an unarmored opponent. I didn't know the Cumans used it but the Highlander Scots definitely did. The point being that it is a historical weapon

DTG Productions even Skyrim had a unique shield “the target of the bloodied” and yep, it causes bleed damage which as far as I know is the only shield that does.

Oh no, the targe if accurate will allow more movement whilst blocking and if used for countering will cause bleeding hence the damage stats.. id pair it with a warhammer or mace 👍🏻

I thought it's maybe just the video quality but I can clearly see the anti-aliasing not doing so well ;) Have a good time playing on PC then! btw is it possible to play with a spear/polearm yet? I know it wasn't possible to "attach" it to a horse before. I was thinking of replaying the game but I don't want to do it with a shield and sword again (and bow) and I'd like to try something new. Polearms were tempting even before.

That was also my impression, that is why i said for various items that i was not sure if they were new. All i know for sure is that i have put 500 hours easily into this game, and i never encountered these items before the 1.5 patch.
