they dont need to cut it, they will just unbolt it lol. Security bolts are easy to find. I would only get the heavy duty for maybe overlanding

Sure that can happen but most times I’ve seen videos of people cutting catalytic converters off, they just want to be in and out. In order to take this cat shield off it’ll take them 10 more minutes which is 10 more minutes of them getting caught, and that’s if they have the right security bits. Thieves are opportunistic they like the easier paths to stealing, more than likely they would move onto a different vehicle.

Good video, but the cat shield should be welded together not put together with nuts and bolts

Thanks! But I like the idea of a Bolt on kit, it’s a lot easier for the everyday do it yourselfers. But hey welding it would secure things better.

This is sum bullshit. I'd rather use a bullet than an expensive shield. It's a better theft deterrent too.

A lot of people think this way but it doesn’t work out like you would hope. Two of my Dad’s trucks catalytic converters were stolen over night without us ever even hearing anything. It takes them maybe a few minutes to cut them.
